\nSPP1895-Barbie (F), around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on the 23rd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that a dog (SPP1895-Barbie) was in a construction site next to Pou Tai Un Monastery and was hit by a car, seeming paralyzed.<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>
\nBarbie was send to a clinic for consultation and X-ray check. SPP1895-Barbie had severe spinal fracture and a lump in the anal gland and she was in great pain and suffering and nothing could be done to help her.<\/span>
\nAfter a call to Mr. Chan explaining the situation, a favorable opinion of the vet who saw her and two Anima board members approval, the last one the President of Anima, Barbie was euthanized.<\/span>
