Anima- Animal for Adoption in IACM (451-Ivone)!

451-Ivone was first adopted from Anima on 20 June 2009 and was abandoned in Praça do Tap Seac. Someone found her in the street and delivered her to IACM. After she was adopted again in kennel on 10th April 2015, but we were informed by IACM that Ivone was again abandoned in the Macau kennel two days ago. Fortunately, by an old informal policy between Anima and IACM, when we transfer our property to a new adopter our name is internally registered in IACM files. Once an animal is abandoned we are informed by IACM which, by law, can only disclose the microchip. But this is enough for us to know who was the bad guy. Once informed, we immediately called the adopter and the reason is always the same: the family do not want the animal anymore or they have no space! But why they have not even called us? Why...

Anima – May Return and Abandonment (1636-Bliss)!

Bliss was adopted on 6th March 2016 and now returned to Anima by the adopter! 1636-Bliss was born with 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel and 1635-Bonzel by the mother 1620-Ibbie in Anima on 12th January 2016. 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016 after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. He was returned now and the excuse from the adopter was that a member of the family had an allergy. We disagree but we have no option than save him! He was socialized with his family today, all of them still not yet adopted, the mother 1620-Ibbie, the sibling 1631-Kylee, 1633-Stammi and 1634-Sorrel. Please Adopt and Never buy! Anima – April Rescue (C1174-Bella)!

C1174-Bella (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2016, after a call from Mr. Andrii, informing that he can’t take care of C1174-Bella anymore as he will go back Europe very soon. C1174-Bella was rescued by Mr. Andrii from the street. according to him. She was de-sexed and vaccinated. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – April Rescue (1707-Moppy)!

1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club and seems hurt. 1707-Moppy seems not moving well and was soaked under the rain. 1707-Moppy was collected by Anima and no microchip was found. Unfortunately her tail was out of the big cage we have for animals in quarantine (we have no other way to keep them temporarily, even if they have play times during the day) and she was beaten by other dogs and had to go to a clinic for surgery. Many people ask us to help, we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Anima – April Rescue (1706-Parco)!

1706-Parco (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Man, informing that 1706-Parco was found tied near a garbage room on Rua de Sacadura Cabral. She has stayed there for over half an hour but nobody appeared to get 1706-Parco. Our rescue team went to the location, no microchip was found on 1706-Parco, and he was skinny. According to the people nearby, they often see two young girls walking 1706-Parco. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – April Rescue (1709-Poca)!

1709-Poca (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Wu, informing that 1709-Poca was in the ditch near the Communications Museum. The ditch was too deep for 1709-Poca to jump out of it, so Ms. Wu asked for our help. Our rescue team went to the location to bring 1709-Poca out and collected her to Anima as that area was too dangerous for a dog and we don’t know if she has owner. No microchip was found. March Abandonment, Rescue and Adoption (1688-Curly)!

1688-Curly (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Antonio reporting that a male poodle, 1688-Curly, was found abandoned outside his company with a note this afternoon. The note was written by the owner begging people to save him. He has no microchip. As we are full, Mr. Antonio guaranteed us that he will adopted him if nobody wants him. Curly was checked, had a bath and was de-wormed. He was returned to Mr. Antonio who informed us that Curly was already adopted after some messages in facebook. Thanks Mr. Antonio! Anima – March Return and Abandonment (C669-Makita)!

C669-Makita was rescued by Anima on 10th March 2014 near Macau Daily Times by a police officer who was on his way to work. Makita was adopted on 4th April 2014. However, Makita was returned today. The  adopter  will leave Macau soon and, according to her,  she has no condition to bring the cat with her. We disagree with her decision and consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the cat. Please be a responsible owner! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – March Rescue (C1137-Bosso)!

C1137-Bosso, three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call  reporting that  Bosso was fighting with  other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. Today, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always atacked by the other cat! Even disagreeing, we decided to collect Bosso just like happened with Shadie as the family was not able to handle the situation and one the members is sick!
