July Abandonment and Rescue (C1239 to C1243)!

<22-07-2016> 1239-Handsome (M, de-sexed), C1240-B Loi (F), C1241-Playful (F), C1242-Fei Mui (F, de-sexed) and C1243-Pineapple (M, de-sexed) were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wants to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. After talk she changed her mind and decided  to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. This is cruelty! Do you know that by our new law cats can be abandoned without any penalty? Do you know that the majority of animals abandoned are cats? Do you know that Anima was against this? Anima – July Abandonment and Rescue (H005 to H009)!

H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), around four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were hamsters rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim is staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum is staying with the three babies in another cage! Thanks Mrs. Muk! Please help us to help them! Anima – July Abandonment and Rescue (1758-Batman)!

1758-Batman, around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2016. Yesterday morning when our staff arrived in Anima there was food near our gate and a leash tied up to it. Probably a dog was abandoned there last night. As there was a heavy rain the dog may got scared and escaped. Today this dog in the picture was around Anima and yesterday was found unleashed near Helen Garden! We looked for him and he was found near Anima in the road Altinho de Ka-Ho which is a very dangerous road. He was lying near the cars around the water reservoir. Our staff slowly get his confidence and put him in the rescue van. He is now with us! We are ashamed of who did that! He could be killed! H002-Ham Ham (F), H003-Maru (F), H004-Fufu (M), all around 4 months old, were rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Mr. Fong reporting that he didn’t want to keep his three hamsters because they had fleas. R027-Bonnie (M), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Kam reporting that a rabbit was given by her friend but she couldn’t keep him anymore as she will immigrate today. Anima – June abandonment in Anima (1674-Jasper)!

1674-Jasper was adopted on 10th April 2016 and abandoned now in Anima! 1671-Jacker, 1672-Joggi, 1673-Joseph, 1674-Japer, 1675-Jotty with the mother SPP1676-Josha were rescued by Anima on 13th March 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that SPP1676-Josha, around four years old, under our Special Protection Program, with her five puppies, all around three weeks old, were found in a construction site somewhere in Coloane. According to Ms. Cheng, the place was dangerous for the dogs due to the bad weather and the living condition, so she asked us to help. Our rescue team went to the site and found the puppies hiding inside a huge pipe. The puppies were taken out from the pipe and the mother 1676-Josha was rescued as well. Jasper was adopted on 10th April and was now returned as the adopter refers that he is not clean at home! Animals must go out home for playtime...

Anima – June Rescue (SPP1754-Boy)!

SPP1754-Boy (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a puppy, SPP1754-Boy, now under our Special Protection Program was abandoned by the owner in Taipa near a place where we have two people working for us helping tens of dogs. Boy has severe attacks of epilepsy. He has been checked in one clinic but the prescription was not being effective. So, we decided to move to another clinic where he stayed overnight for observation. We believe he has few chances to survive but it is our job to do the best for him! Thanks Ms. Gina and Asseng! Please help us to help them! Anima- June Abandonment (1397-Addis)!

1397-Addis, formerly a SPP puppy, was adopted on 18th March 2015. Addis was one of the five puppies of SPP1393-Adelina that was found pregnant and rescued by us on 22nd January 2015. Anima was informed by IACM today that 1397-Addis was rescued by a resident in a street and delivered to Macau kennel on 15th June 2016. Anima tried to contact the former adopter with no success! Addis is now in IACM waiting that the adopter receives the letter from IACM. We will collect him back if the adopter abandon him! We need to find a space for him! We are so ashamed of this adopter! We never disclose the names of who abandoned the animals adopted from us but remember we have posts of all our activity from at least the first of January 2015! Thanks IACM! Anima – May Return and Abandonment (C821-Hogan)

C821-Hogan (M), with C822-Howar (M), on the time around six months old, were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2014 in Coloane> Their mother SPPC785-Jill was under our Special Protection Program from 22nd August 2014. Hogan was adopted on 13th January 2015. However, Hogan was returned today. Tha adopter informed that her landlord didn't allow her to have pets in the apartment.
