Anima in “Children Day Mini Festival” and Adoption day!

<03-06-2018> Anima was invited to participate in the “International Children Day Mini Festival Little Boss Big Business” event held by the Grand Coloane Resort on 3rd June 2018! We set up our Adoption Day booth and around 25 people visited us! We brought out our dog “Neve” to play with the children  there. Anima received a donation of MOP1,400 from this event “Little Boss Big Business” that were contributed by seven Little Bosses (Children) who set up their own booths and sold things on that day. Anima-Yuet Wah College visited us!

<27-05-2018> Today, 48 people visited us, four of them were from Yuet Wah College that came to our Cats’ Paradise! They donated to us MOP 6,522.5 from their “WeWa Event” held on 29th April 2018 at the college! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to April 2018, Anima received 3103 visitors, 42 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in six events! Anima- Please Help us! Do not let Anima die!

<13-04-2018> Dear friends, Every year we begin our activity with accumulated debts. In 2018, we opened with debts carried forward of MOP 2,409,018.04, a consequence of our increased activity. As you know, Anima runs two shelters and thousands of animals in sites, and helps IACM handling the dogs in Coloane Kennel. The food and cleaning materials are provided by IACM and the staff by Anima! These animals are kept alive even if they belong to IACM! This was our agreement! A good agreement! Our expenses last year totalized around 10 million patacas but we were able to generate almost the same money to pay the bills but not the accumulated debts. However, this year the scenario seems very complicated as the funds we usual receive in the beginning of the year to pay accumulated debts and the expenses of the first months may not come.
