Anima – In the Hong Kong Animal Bazzar!

Anima was invited to participate in the Hong Kong Animal Bazzar, an organization of Cat State! The 3rd Animal Bazaar, organized by the Cat State, was held on 9 April and 10 April 2016 in Hong Kong. This time ANIMA was invited to participate and has met friends in Hong Kong. Our booth was at the ground floor of the WAVE building. We had made charity sales and promotion of our organization! The admission was free and HK residents were welcome to bring along their pets! Anima – Fundação Rui Cunha – Animals: Law and Rights!

Fundação Rui Cunha held a talk on today at 18:30 regarding the project of Law for the Protection of Animals being in discussion in the Macau Legislative Assembly. The talk was in Portuguese Language with translation to Chinese and guests’ speakers were Anima President Mr. Albano Martins, the Lawyer Mr. Paulo Cardinal, the Vets Mr. Jorge Boavida and Mr. Ng Tung Ming. The intervention of our President centered in several topics of this law, which Anima disagrees and a movie was shown with real cases of cruelty from the daily activity of Anima. We are against: 1.the main reasons of the law seeming  more concerned with human health and the keeping of public order than animal welfare; 2.the concept of abandonment (if abandoned in kennel the law considers as a non-abandonment and we disagree. At the end,  IACM will be called to kill the animals abandoned in the kennel as IACM...

We have visited the Sheng Kung Hui Secondary School!

An Anima team leader by our Executive Committee Vice-President Mr. Billy Chan has visited the Sheng Kung Hui secondary school today. Around 13 students were involved in this education event. Anima – We have visited the The International School of Macau with IACM!

Anima has visited in the morning the Primary 2 of the TIS.  In last February we have paid a visit to the Kindergarten of TIS and last week we have been also with the students of another class of Primary 2. Anima has invited IACM to participate with us in this visit as a sign of our good cooperation in order to teach the kids to be responsible with animals. Anima – We have visited the International School of Macau with IACM!
