Anima – Dog n’ Cat Pet shop donation!

Anima has no relation at all with any pet shop that sells animals. The main reason is we think they are part of our big problem of a huge supply of animals in Macau! We are not happy that the Macau Government does not impose a ban on pet shops! We have a lot of pet shops and a lot of abandoned animals! They sell animals without microchip and many of them even do not respect the minimum international standards regarding the sizes of the cages they use or the minimum of age a animal must be placed in a pet shop! Anima – October Rescue (SPP1547-Ah Hong)!

SPP1547-Ah Hong was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Tang reporting that SPP1547-Ah Wong had diarrhea with blood. Mr. Tang works in a friendly association that also supports Anima. SPP1547-Ah Wong was sent to a clinic for consultation and blood test. He is now under medication and under our Special Protection Program! Thanks Mr. Tang! Anima – October Rescue and Return (1546-Bon Bon)

1546-Bon Bon was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Bryan reporting that a small dog (1546-Bon Bon) was found in Taipa near the School of Nations. He thought Bon Bon was lost and asked Anima to help. The rescue team went to the site and found Bon Bon on the road between cars. Anima was able to get him and after few minutes walking him with a leash he drive us to his home. After some more minutes the owner showed-up! After scanned we found that Bon Bon had a microchip! Albano Martins Adopt In Coloane Kennel, News, SPP accepted

IACM animals for Adoption in Coloane Kennel!

Thanks to our cooperation with IACM, Anima is now taking care to all animals in Coloane Kennel from Monday to Sunday. From 9:00 am to 5:45 pm. If you want to see them on Saturdays and Sundays, please call Anima and we will open the gate, as Saturdays and Sundays are day-off for IACM but not for Anima. We work all days of the year, including holidays and typhoons, rotating our staff. Anima employs nowadays 35 people, of which 23 are locals! SPP1514-Tai Wong, SPP1515-Siu Wan and SPP1516-Siu Wang were collected by IACM, stayed in Macau Kennel for adoption and now are being moved to Coloane Kennel for avoiding to be euthanized. Meanwhile, Anima has socialized the dogs in Coloane kennel to allow these three to have their own pen! This is only possible thanks to our cooperation with IACM! The best should be no animal being killed. Please help us...

Anima – October Sad News (SPP1545-Marvis)!

SPP1545-Marvis was rescued by Anima on 7th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that Marvis, living in a site, was weak and sick and was bitten by the adult dogs. He was really in very bad shape, severely dehydrated and full of fleas, ticks and worms! We have tried our best to save him! He deceased today! R.I.P. my friend!
