Anima–March Sad News (B092-Sunshine)!

<08-03-2018> B092-Sunshine was rescued by Anima on 6th  March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a pigeon B092-Sunshine was found near the sidewalk of Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B092-Sunshine was sent to a clinic. B092-Sunshine was very weak and need to stay at the clinic for force feeding. Unfortunately we were informed that B092-Sunshine passed away  this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Adoption (C1851-Arlan)!

<07-03-2018> Arlan was adopted by Mr. Francisco Leandro, our Board Member, on 7th March 2018! C1851-Arlan (M), was rescued by Anima on 16th February 2018 when he was around eight months old, at the entrance of Cat Paradise when our staff arrived at work. C1851-Arlan was inside a carrier and was  abandoned. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Francisco! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–Return to nature (B091-Braga)!

<06-03-2018> B091-Braga was rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a pigeon B091-Braga was found on the road of Rua de Bragança and was unable to fly. She asked us for help. B091-Braga was sent to a clinic. B091-Braga was dehydrated and starved. B091-Braga had stayed at the clinic  being force feeding. Braga has recovered and released in the trail near our shelter today! Fly free my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (SPP1950-Yellow)!

<06-03-2018> SPP1950-Yellow (M), under our Special Protection Program since 17th December 2017, was rescued by Anima on 22nd February 2018 when he was  around one year and three months old, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that SPP1950-Yellow was found unable to move and  was crying in pain. He asked us for help. According to Mr. Ho, he suspected that SPP1950-Yellow was caught for stealing food and was beaten by somebody. SPP1950-Yellow was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray showed that he has no bone fracture. He was suspected having neurologic problem. SPP1950-Yellow stayed at the clinic for dripping and observation. He returned and stayed at our shelter from 24th February for observation. Today we found SPP1950-Yellow not eating well, having difficulty in breathing and  in high fever. He was sent to a clinic immediately and got a second opinion from another vet. The X-ray showed he has Intervertebral Disc Disease. The blood test showed the...

Anima–March Rescue (C1856-Jill)!

<06-03-2018> C1856-Jill (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2018,  abandoned outside our Dog Shelter area. C1856-Jill was inside a container bag, hanged on the fence of the Reservoir near our shelter building. She was checked by our staff. She had two wounds on her right thigh and left anus. C1856-Jill was sent to a clinic immediately as the wounds are very deep and large. According to the vet, the wounds cannot be closed by sutures, we need to clean her wounds constantly and be aware of infection. C1856-Jill was diagnosed with cat flu as well. Anima–March New Dogs under SPP (SPP2010, SPP2011)!

 <03-03-2018> SPP2010-Cinderella (F), around four years old, SPP2011-Mamba (F), around three years old, are now under our Special Protection Program on 3rd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that two dogs need our help. SPP2010-Cinderella has nose bleeding. SPP2011-Mamba has respiratory problems with seizures and was infected by Canine Distemper. Our rescue team tried to catch them but didn't succeed. Anima–March Sad News (SPP2004-Bettina)!

<05-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old at that time, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old at that time, were under our Special Protection Program and  rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. He found the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. SPP2005-Borbala  passed away when we arrived at the clinic. The result of the Canine Distemper test of the five puppies were positive. The five puppies SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F) and SPP2004-Bettina (F) stayed at the clinic for close observation and treatment. Anima–March Sad News (SPP1550-Finbar)!

<04-03-2018> SPP1550-Finbar  (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 18th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Alex reporting that SPP1550-Finbar had an eye infection and was limping. SPP1550-Finbar was released to his former place on 19th October 2015 after applying some medication. Anima–March Rescue (C1855-Cassian)!

<04-03-2018> C1855-Cassian (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that a cat was found in Rua Norte do Patane last night. The cat was very sick and weak, so she asked us for help. C1855-Cassian was sent to a clinic. He was skinny, dehydrated with low temperature, also had feline scabies and dental problems as well. After the prescription of medication at the clinic, C1855-Cassian was collected by us. He was checked by vet and dewormed. He stays at the Cats’ Paradise for quarantine and observation.
