Anima–April Sad News (893-Silver)!

<02-04-2024> 893-Silver (F), one of our senior dogs, was diagnosed with pancreatitis and IVDD. She was sent to a clinic for treatment and she has been hospitalized since march 2024. <01-04-2024> C2222-London (M), one of our cats, lost weight and had yellowish gum with mouth discharge recently. Blood test was done and results showed health problems on the liver and also anemia. According to the vet, it was suspected that he had cholangiohepatitis. Even after medication and treatments, his health condition was not getting better. Anima–March Sad News (C2183-Alora)!

<26-03-2024> C2183-Alora was sent to a clinic as she did not stop bleeding from a wound on her hind legs. Health exams showed that Alora has an autoimmune disease and she was anemic. Anima–March Abandonment (C1379-Somen)!

<26-03-2024> C1376-Udon (F), C1377-Soba (F), C1378-Ramen (M) and C1379-Somen (M), were rescued by Anima on 8th January 2017, when they were around one month old, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he used to feed a female cat but the cat was bitten by a dog and died. The female cat left four kittens and Mr. Iong didn’t know how to take care of them. Udon and Ramen were fostered temporarily by our cats’ supervisor, Mrs. Connie. Soba and Somen were fostered temporarily by our assistant supervisor Effie, as they needed milk feeding. Somen grew up and he was adopted by Mr. Pedro on 14th February 2017. Unfortunately, Mr. Pedro need to leave the cat with a friend due to his shifts at work. His friend accepted to take care of C1379-Somen, but recently got retired and he needs to leave Macau, back to his homeland. C1379-Somen was returned to Anima...

Zorro was diagnosed with hyperadrenalism as well as a pancreatic tumor, leading to hypoglycemia this year. He got worst and besides all treatments, his health condition was not getting better.
