Anima–July Rescue (C2724-BB)!

<06-07-2022> C2724-BB (M), around one year and six months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2022, after a Facebook message from Ms. Lei referring that she saw a skinny cat with skin problem at Chun Pek Garden. The cat was later caught by I.A.M. and desexed. C2724-BB received vaccines and he was microchipped. Today, our rescue team brought C2724-BB from Macau Kennel to be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. <06-07-2022> SPP2454-Camila (F), around six months, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) today. She is under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in Estrada de Cheok Van. Anima is going to support a spay surgery for SPP2454-Camila to prevent pregnancy. SPP2454-Camila was sent to a clinic for a spay surgery today. She was returned to the former place after recover. Anima–July Rescue (C2723-Yoi)!

<04-07-2022> C2723-Yoi (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2022, after a call from Ms. Ching referring that there was a kitten stuck on rat glue, at 6th floor of Edf. Industrial Chong Fong and he was meowing all morning. Ms. Ching tried to help by removing the glue, but failed. Our Rescue team went to pick up the kitten and sent him directly to a vet clinic for consultation. C2723-Yoi had the glue removed there. He was dehydrated and had low body temperature. Blood tests showed anemia and inflammation. He will stay hospitalized, under veterinary observation. After recover, C2723-Yoi will be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Ching! <01-07-2022> C2721-Blake (M), around four and a half years old, was rescued after a call from Mrs. Lo reporting that a sick cat was found in Rua Kun Iam Tong. She asked us for help. Anima lent a carrier for her to handle the cat until arrive to a vet clinic in Macau. According to one vet, Blake was anemic, he had jaundice and needed to stay under veterinary supervision in the clinic. Medical exams tested positive for Feline Coronavirus, which could develop for FIP. After all medical efforts, the clinic reported us this morning that C2721-Blake passed away. R.I.P. our friend! <01-07-2022> C2723-Chip (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st July 2022, after a call from Ms. Cheng asking for help as she saw a neck injured cat in Rua da Tercena. Rescue team tried to use the cat trap with no success. Today, Ms. Cheong informed us that C2723-Chip ran into a shop and notice a large wound on the neck.
