Anima–October Sad News (2577-Gritz)!

<05-10-2026> The dog, 2577- Gritz (M), around 11 years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th September 2026, after a call from IAM regarding no more space for animals.His last owner, an elderly man over 90 years old, was unable to care for himself and the dog, Gritz.2577- Gritz was diagnosed with tick fever, needed medication and treatment.On further examination, his blood test results showed severe anemia and he was losing blood cells.According to the vet, 2577- Gritz has a tumor that had been with him for many years rupturing, and it was pressing blood vessels.Unfortunatelly, his health condition was not getting better and besides all our medical efforts, 2577- Gritz passed away today. R.I.P. our friend!Never Abandon your pets! Anima–September Sad News (837-Don)!

<30-09-2026> 837-Don (M), one of our senior dogs, has been living safely in our Dogs’ Shelter until now.Recently, 837-Don became weak.He is very anemic, with bloody diarrhea and not willing to eat.According with the vet, 837-Don has kidney failure.Unfortunatelly, his health condition was not getting better.Besides all our medical efforts, 837-Don passed away today. Anima–September Rescue (C3156-Dusty)!

<21-09-2026> C3156-Dusty (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2026, after a facebook message by Ms. Len, reporting that the 4th floor platform outside her kitchen, had a cat, Dusty, trapped in a cat trap for the whole day.She asked us help.Our rescue team went there and confirmed the location for the trap.Procedures were taken and later, after a call from the person who left the cat trap there, C3156-Dusty was safely collected to our Cats’ Paradise.Thanks, Ms. Len! <07-09-2026> The dog, 2575-Black Beans (M), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 7th September 2026, after a call from Ms. Chan, a volunteer informing that about a month ago, she discovered that the dog who had been inseparable from Black Beans had gone missing.At the same time, Black Beans was found covered in wounds and Ms. Chan helped him to recover.She asked us help.Our Rescue team collected him and 2575-Black Beans was welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter!Thanks, Ms. Chan!
