Anima February Sad News (C179-Sakura)

C179-Sakura was rescued in March 25, 2010. She was only around five years old. She was in suffer and by advise of a vet and with two Anima Board members favorable opinion, including the president, she was euthanized in a clinic to stop her suffer. R.I.P. my friend! C894-Hyman was rescued with C893-Hugh and C895-Hedy on February 12, 2014. They were born on 6th, February. The mother cannot provide milk to the kittens as she was weak. They were very weak! C887-Ozzie was rescued by Anima on January 27, 2015. He was found in a carton box at Avenida do Almirante Lacerda and the body temperature was very low. Ozzie died in Anima one day after coming from a clinic. We were not expecting that as he was beginning to eat well even if we know that dying was always a possibility as he seems having neurologic problems. He was staying in V6 (vet area, room 6). We continue to have a serious problem in our cat area. Anima has 147 cats of which 127 in our shelter and the others being fostered! Never abandon your pet! Abandoning your pet should be a crime! C890-Lyndon was rescued on February 1, 2015 and deceased today at 5:00 am in the house of our temporary foster family and staff. We did the best as the rescue was done night time. Many cats are found dead by very low temperatures in Guia and other places. Contacted IACM they informed us that cats are not killed by rats poison. Sometimes they are killed by stray dogs!
