Anima – CCLSUMSU visited us!

<02-06-2017> Today, 15 people visited us, three were from a coffee club of the Macau University that came to our Cat’s Paradise giving us a donation regarding the event “coffee week”! They donated to Anima MOP 7,832.00! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to May 2017, Anima received 4,297 visitors, an increase of 31.4% as compared with the same period of last year. 50 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and increase of 22%, and we have been in 17 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 13.3%! Anima–June Rescue and Sad News (1898-Alisa)!

<02-06-2017> 1898-Alisa (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from “Comando da Polícia de Segurança Pública” (the headquarters of Public Security Police) informing that 1898-Alisa, was hit by a car in Rua de Sacadura Cabral and was dying. 1898-Alisa had an owner and she lost her as the leash was loose. 1898-Alisa passed away before we arrived. The body of 1898-Alisa was delivered to Macau kennel. Thanks PSP! R.I.P. my friend! Please be careful and responsible when taking your pets outside! June Rescue and Sad News (C1571, C1572, C1573)!

<02-06-2017> C1571-Leon (M), C1572-Lana (F), C1573-Lacie (F), around seven days old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from Mr. Yung, informing that they were found in Areia Preta in a plastic bag. They are fostered by our assistant supervisor Mrs. Peng temporarily as they need milk feeding. C1573-Lacie passed away night time as she was very weak. Thanks Mr. Yung and Ms. Peng! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–June Rescue (C1570-Muji)!

<02-06-2017> C1570-Muji (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, informing that C1570-Muji was found in Areia Preta and seemed sick. Muji was chec ked by our vet. She was skinny, dehydrated, very weak, with low temperature and anemic. She is staying in V6 under IV fluid now. Thanks Mr. Wong! Please help us to help them! June Rescue and IACM Cooperation (C1568, C1569)!

<02-06-2017> C1568-Sofie (F), around 2 years old and C1569-Stanford (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IACM. C1569-Stanford had an accident and his right front limb was amputated. They were delivered to Anima Cats’ Paradise and they stay in our free area now. Anima–June Rescue (C1567-Tin Tin)!

<01-06-2017> C1567-Tin Tin (M), around 4.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st June 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that Ms. Rebecca found a kitten, C1567-Tin Tin, in Mong Ha Hill Municipal Park. C1567-Tin Tin was brought to a clinic and stayed overnight for observation. He was collected by Anima today. Tin Tin was checked by our vet. He is staying in C22 in our Cats’ Paradise in quarantine. Anima–May Adoption (SPPC1540-Ocean)!

<31-05-2017> Ocean was adopted by Ms. Brenda on 31st May 2017! SPPC1540-Ocean (M), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on the 19th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa and became under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1540-Ocean was brought to Anima for consultation and was de-wormed and received the first vaccination. SPPC1540-Ocean was returned to his place after consultation and was under Michele responsibility. He came on 26th May 2017 again and he was in our Cats’ Paradise before being now adopted! Anima–May Adoption (C1417-Gouda)!

<30-05-2017> Gouda was adopted by Mr. Chan on 30th May 2017! C1417-Gouda (F), was rescued by Anima on 7th February 2017, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Ms. Yu reporting that a cat entered her balcony at Edificio Nga Sen and destroyed her apartment. Ms. Yu couldn’t keep Gouda and asked our help. Gouda was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was staying in our Cat’s Paradise and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (C1565-Gretel)!

<30-05-2017> C1565-Gretel (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 30th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, informing that they rescued a cat in Nam Van area and the cat was unable to move. The cat was sent to a clinic for consultation and for a X-rays. The result showed that her pelvis was fractured. No surgery was needed as she can recover by herself. This will need around one month to 1.5 months and she must stay in a cage for limitation of movements according to the vet. C1565-Gretel was brought to Anima and is staying in our V6. Anima–May Rescue (C1566-Dino)!

<30-05-2017> C1544-Dallas (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 24th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Leong, informing that she has been hearing a kitten crying for a couple of days above her apartment in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai and no sign of the mother cat. She asked for help. We went to check and contacted the fire department for help. C1544-Dallas was rescued on 24th May 2017, but was missing two. C1561-Dorothy (F) was rescued on 28 May 2017 and was around two months old! C1566-Dino (M) was rescued today, 30th May 2017, and was around two months old. Dino was checked by our vet and de-wormed.
