Anima–May Rescue (SPPC1549, SPPC1552)!

<25-05-2017> SPPC1549-Abree and SPPC1552-Abi, both around two months old, were rescued by Anima on the 25th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They are now under our Special Protection Program. They were brought to Anima for consultation and were de-wormed and received the first vaccination. SPPC1549-Abree and SPPC1552-Abi were returned to their place after consultation and are under Michele responsibility. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Rescue (SPPC1474, SPPC1545, SPPC1546)!

<25-05-2017> SPPC1474-Janice (F), was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 31st March 2017, with an estimated age of two years old. She was pregnant. After she went back to her site, had the kittens and now she was back to Anima for general check up and vaccination. Her two kittens, SPPC1545-Jina (F) and SPPC1546-Jessa (F) were also brought in for vaccination and de-worming. Next vaccination due date will be 8th June. They had been under quarantine in Michele’s home and are all delivered to Cat Paradise for adoption today. They are staying in C11 temporarily. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (C1544-Dallas)!

<24-05-2017> C1544-Dallas (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 24th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Leong, informing that she has been hearing a kitten crying for a couple of days above her apartment in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai and no sign of the mother cat. She asked for help. We went to check and contacted the fire department for help. C1544-Dallas was rescued. Dallas was checked by our vet and de-wormed. May Return to the Mother Nature (B066 and B068)!

<23-05-2017> See them when we rescue and now when they were put free! B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny, were rescued by Anima on 6th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chio, reporting that there were two baby birds, B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny, near A-Ma Cultural Village, and they were unable to fly. B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny were sent to a clinic for consultation and stayed hospitalized free of charge. B068-Kuku, was rescued by Anima on the 14th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheang, informing that a baby bird, B068-Kuku, was found in Rua de Marques de Oliveira. She asked us to help. B068-Kuku was sent to a clinic for consultation. Skittles and Kuku were released after recovery on 23rd May 2017 in the trail near Anima! Fly free my friends! Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (SPP1895-Barbie)!

<23-05-2017> SPP1895-Barbie (F), around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on the 23rd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that a dog (SPP1895-Barbie) was in a construction site next to Pou Tai Un Monastery and was hit by a car, seeming paralyzed. Barbie was send to a clinic for consultation and X-ray check. SPP1895-Barbie had severe spinal fracture and a lump in the anal gland and she was in great pain and suffering and nothing could be done to help her. After a call to Mr. Chan explaining the situation, a favorable opinion of the vet who saw her and two Anima board members approval, the last one the President of Anima, Barbie was euthanized. May Abandonment and Return (C332, C334 and C609)!

<28-05-2017> C332-Basha, C334-Hoover and C609-Grita, were rescued by Anima on 9th April 2012, 11th April 2012 and 19th October 2013, respectively, and adopted on 20th May 2012 (Basha and Hoover) and 17th January 2014 (Grita) by the same adopter. The first two were rescued through Michele and the third one was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ao. They are now sending back to Anima as the adopter informed us that her daughter's asthma was becoming stronger and she was told by her doctor to give them away. They were brought to Anima today and checked by our vet. They were all neutered and had received the annual vaccination. They are staying in C22 for few days for adaptation to the new environment and calm down. We disagree with this abandonment. These cats will have a lot of difficulties to adapt to an environment full of cats,...

Anima–May Adoption (C1463-Doritos)!

<23-05-2017> Doritos was adopted by Ms. Sam on 23rd May 2017! C1407-Lavinia (F), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Maria reporting that there was a cat near Hospital Conde S. Januário and the cat was crying there for a week. Lavinia had watery discharge from the nose. She was already pregnant when she was rescued. C1461-Ruffles (F), C1462-Cheetos (M), C1463-Doritos (M), C1464-Pringles (M) were born on 22nd March 2017, by C1407-Lavinia in C11 (Cats’ Paradise room 11)! Now Doritos was adopted! Thanks Ms. Sam! Anima – Adopção de Maio (C1471-Tempura)!

<23-05-2017> Tempura foi adoptada pelo Sr. Lam no dia 23 de Maio de 2017! C1470-Tamako (M), C1471-Tempura (F) e C1472-Wasabi (F), com cerca de sete dias de idade, foram resgatados pela Anima no dia 27 de Março de 2017, depois de uma chamada da Sra. Cheang que os trouxe todos ao Paraiso dos Gatos da Anima. De acordo com a Sra. Cheang, C1470-Tamako, C1471-Tempura e C1472-Wasabi, nasceram de um gato de rua no terraço do seu local de trabalho na Av. de Sidonio Pais, na semana passada. C1470-Tamako, C1471-Tempura e C1472-Wasabi form examinados pelo nosso veterinário. Ficaram em família de acolhimento temporário com a nossa Supervisora dos Gatos para serem alimentados.
