Anima- May Rescue and Return (SPP1299, SPP1876)!

<05/05/2017> SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 6th September 2014, after a call from Ms. Peng. On 5th February 2005, Xiao Xiao was spayed to avoid more pregnancies. Now, SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 5th May 2017, together with SPP1876-Blacky, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), after a call from Peng, reporting that they were not eating in the last two days. They were brought to Anima for consultation, did a blood test and the result showed that they have tick fever. Medication was prescribed and SPP1299-Xiao Xiao and SPP1876-Blacky were returned to their place and Ms. Peng will be responsible for giving the medication everyday. Thanks Ms. Peng! Anima – May Adoption (1797-Golden)!

<05-05-2017> Golden was adopted by Mr Michael on 5th May 2017! 1797-Golden (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2016, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Vidigal, reporting that a dog was found with a collar in a trail near Macau International Airport. No microchip was found on him. Golden stayed with us from that time on, was later fostered just for one day, and now he is adopted by Mr. Michael! Thanks Mr. Michael! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–May Sad News (C1508-Jewel)!

<04-05-2017> C1508-Jewel (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, reporting that a kitten, C1508-Jewel, was found in Rua de Malaca, near Golden Dragon Macau, and was sick. He asked us to help. C1508-Jewel was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She was dehydrated and had low temperature. C1508-Jewel was staying in V6 under treatment. She died this afternoon! R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pets! Anima–May Rescue (C1517-Dee)!

<04-05-2017> C1517-Dee (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on the 4th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Si, around 7:30 pm, reporting that a kitten, C1517-Dee, was found in Rua Nova da Areia Preta and he was very weak. She asked us to help. C1517-Dee was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had low temperature and is staying in the clinic for IV Dripping and observation. Thanks Ms. Si! Please help us to help them! <04-05-2017> On the 4th of May 2017, we have received from Janet Tracy, a former director in Venetian and wife of our good friend Edward Tracy, former President of Venetian, the amount of USD 2,000.00, income from the sale of a book for kids that Janet has published in USA, named “Grace and Shu Mai, the dumpling dog”. Shu Mai, a black dog, was adopted from Anima and the book is a story about her daughter Grace and Shu Mai and has several pages totally referred to Anima. Anima – Fountain of Hope visited us!

<03-05-2017> Today, 42 people visited us, 12 were from Fountain of Hope, that came to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to April 2017, Anima received 3,578 visitors, an increase of 37.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 45 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in 14 events organized by friends or by us! Anima–May Return and Abandonment (C812-Phoebe)!

<03-05-2017> C812-Phoebe (F), C813-Perry and C814-Paddy were found on 17th October 2014 at Av. do Oceano. Their mother has passed away. Phoebe was adopted on 9th November 2014! The adopter brought C812-Phoebe to our dog shelter this morning, claiming that  because of her divorce nobody is able to take care of C812-Phoebe anymore. Phoebe is now six years and eight months old! C812-Phoebe was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She is staying in C11 temporarily to adapt to the new environment as she is very scared. <03-05-2017> C1512-Wifi (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took home Wifi yesterday and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there.
