Anima–April Rescue and Return (B063-Jape)!

<13/14-04-2017> B063-Jape, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a bird was found near the garbage bin outside Anima and seemed not capable to fly. Next day we saw that he was already capable to fly and he was put free and safe near the trail around Anima. Anima–April Adoption (C1331-Saxa)!

<02-04-2017> Saxa was adopted by Ms. Chen on 2nd April 2017! C1331-Saxa (F), with an estimated age of four months old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2016, after a call from Mr. Cheang reporting that he found a kitten in the stair of his building near Rua Sul do Patane. He asked if we could collect Saxa as his wife was afraid of cats. Saxa was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was staying with us up to now. Thanks Ms. Chen! Please help us to help them! Anima – UMAC students visited us!

<12-04-2017> Today, 10 people visited us, six were students from UMAC that came to our Cat’s Paradise for volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to March 2017, Anima received 2,603 visitors, an increase of 35.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 28 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in nine events organized by friends or by us! Anima – April Adoption (1696-Woody II)!

<12-04-2016> Woody II was adopted on 12th April 2017 by Ms. Lam! 1696-Woody II, was exceptionally accommodated in Anima (A7) for 138 days as the owner had go unexpectedly to his country. 1696-Woody II was staying with us until all the process of transfer was finished. However, after one year of waiting for the owner contact and after some information sent to him by friends, Anima decided to put Woody II for adoption. The owners didn’t show up! This kind of attitude makes us very carefully when receiving dogs for temporary accommodation as we are full. We are concentrated in saving mainly animals that are in risk! Thanks Ms. Lam! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1494-Twiz)!

<12-04-2017> SPPC1494-Twiz (M), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 12th April 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was skinny and seemed sick. He was checked by out vet and is staying now in V6 under IV dripping and closed observation. SPPC1494-Twiz was anemic and dehydrated with gingivitis. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Adoption (1843-Furby)!

<11-04-2017> Furby was adopted by Mr. Ezibek on 11th April 2017! 1843-Furby (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st February 2017, when he was around two months old, after a call from Mr. Lok reporting that a puppy was found alone hiding under a motorcycle near the Mercado Municipal da Taipa. Our shelter was full but we had no choice as Furby was too young to survive by himself on the street. He was full of fleas and was going to be after quarantine socialized with other puppies. Furby was later adopted on 7th February 2017 but the family return him informing that he bites the furniture. He is a young dog and the family must find a way to concentrate his teeth in other stuff! Anima–April Rescue (C1493-Astra)!

<11-04-2017> C1493-Astra (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th April 2017, after being abandoned in a cat bag in our door during night time or earlier morning. She was checked by out vet and de-wormed. She has a severe gingivitis, the gum line is red and some teeth are lost. The ears are very dirty and the coat condition is bad. C1493-Astra is staying in Cat Paradise for quarantine. Never Abandon your pets! Anima – April Rescue (SPP1702-Delina)!

<10-04-2016> SPP1705-Darcy is under our Special Protection Program with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F) from 17th April 2016! They are living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. Today Delina, now around one year old, was rescued on 10th April 2017, and sent to a clinic immediately for consultation as his left eye was injured and her nose was bleeding. According to the vet, his left eye is damaged and her eyeball must be taken out. SPP1702-Delina will have a further examination. She is now hospitalized in the clinic for observation and recovery.
