Anima- Wynn Resorts (Macau) Visited Us!

<04-03-2017> Today, 131 people visited out two shelters, 25 from Wynn Resorts (Macau) that visited both shelters! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to February 2017, Anima received 1,714 visitors, an increase of 25.8% as compared with the same period of last year! Thank you for trusting us and supporting our work! Wynn Resorts (Macau) has donated to Anima  MOP 1,200,000.00 to pay our deficit of 2016! Anima–March Foster (1727-Sophia)!

<04-03-2017> Sophia was fostered by Ms. Sonia! 1727-Sophia (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that he found a poodle in Rua Dois da Cidade Nova de Toi San without collar and leash. We found that Sophia had a microchip. She had a skin problem, and several illnesses, including two mammary gland tumors. It was not a good prognosis as she needed surgery to remove them as soon as possible. Her right ear was infected and seemed very painful. She was staying in our vet area and now 1727-Sophia (F), is being fostered by Ms. Sonia, the adopter of 1349-Go Go and 1350-Wang Wang. Sonia is interest to adopt 1727-Sophia! Anima–March Adoption (1846-Alisa)!

<04-03-2017> Alisa was adopted by Mr. Fan, Ka Chan on 4th March 2017! 1846-Alisa (F), together with her mother, 1845-Ady (F), with an estimated age of three years old, and her siblings, 1847-Ayla (F), 1848-Anya (F), 1849-Ava (F), 1850-Ann (F), 1851-Allan (M) and 1852-Avon (M), all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that a dog gave birth to seven puppies in a site of Coloane and they needed our help. The mother and the puppies were checked by our vet and de-wormed. They all stayed with us and now Alisa was adopted! Thanks Mr. Fan! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-March New Dog under SPP (SPP1863A-Norah)!

<03-03-2017> SPP1863A-Norah (F), with an estimated age of one year old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 3rd March 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1863A-Norah is the mother of three puppies somewhere in Coloane and is under his responsibility. SPP1863A-Norah needs to be de-sexed and it was booked for 9th March. Anima will support the neuter, food and the medical care if needed. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Return (SPPC1416-Barry)!

<03-03-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He was fostered temporarily by Michele as he needed medication. SPPC1416-Barry was brought to Anima for consultation on 8th, February. He had again diarrhea, upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. He was hospitalized in Anima temporarily for fluid therapy and treatment since then. Today he was returned to his place and Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Anima–March Rescue (C1439-Loki)!

<03-03-2017> C1439-Loki (M), with an estimated age of four months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a kitten, C1439-Loki, was trapped by glue in Rua (Street) Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta. He asked Anima to help. C1439-Loki was checked by our vet and de-wormed. He has a flea infestation. He is staying in Anima Cat's Paradise for close observation. Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima–March Return (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<02-03-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) after being rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, with around two years old, following a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight in a site in Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Hugo was suppose to get removed the stitches on February 20, but we found the wound was not healed yet. He stayed with us until he recovered and now was released. Rescue and Temporary Accommodation (SPP1863-Ah Wong)!

<02-03-2017> SPP1863-Ah Wong (M), around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2017, after a call from Ms. Tam and Ms. Cheong, reporting that a dog got several bleeding injuries on his body, in a construction site of a casino. According to the manager of the construction, SPP1863-Ah Wong was attacked by other dogs living nearby. SPP1863-Ah Wong was rescued. He has over 30 punctual wounds on his body, some were old wounds already infected. A staff from the site, Ms. Vanessa, is feeding the dogs there every day and she will be taking care of SPP1863-Ah Wong after he returnes. He is staying with us until recover now. Anima – March Sad News (C1233-Eliana)!

<02-03-2017> C1233-Eliana (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 9h July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that there were three cats living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. C1230-Mat and C1231-Mateo, kittens of Eliana, were rescued one day before. Eliana lived with us up to now! C1233-Eliana was found deceased by the handler this morning. She had a long history of recurring Upper Respiratory Tract Infections, Stomatitis and Gingivitis since she was rescued. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
