Anima–Services provided to our community (1824-Loi Loi)!

<08-12-2016> Anima help a clinic because 1824-Loi Loi (F), 14 years old, has Pyometra and severe anemia. She is having a surgery today and blood transfusion required during the operation. Our dog 561-Brownie helped Loi Loi! A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima has an  investigating in course to understand exactly what happen to Jacky II inside and outside Anima. He was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. We will miss you! Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1350, SPPC1351)!

<07-12-2016> SPPC1350-Jupiter (M), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1351-Moo (M), with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th December 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Jupiter is staying with us temporarily for castration. Moo was returned to his former place after dewormed. Michele is responsible for them in that area. Anima will support the neuter, provide food for all of them and the medical care if needed. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima-December Sad News (C1173-Cheddar)!

<06-12-2016> C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Mr. Wai reporting that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was recovered and stayed with us since that. Cheddar was diagnosed with Stomatitis on 28th October 2016. She refused to eat and we started to force feeding since two weeks ago, but she was still getting skinnier. She had bloody diarrhea yesterday and was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, there was a hard lump in the abdomen, which was most possibly the cause of her condition. A surgery could be done, but the success rate was lower than 10% as Cheddar was...

Anima-December Sad News (H005-Dim Dim)!

<05-12-2016> H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), were with an estimated age of four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were hamsters rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Dim Dim was found passed away this morning without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1349-Grey)!

<05-12-2016> C1349-Grey (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, with an estimated age of six years old, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that a skinny cat was found in Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Grey was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had an eye infection and dehydration. He was staying in the clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic today that Grey passed away due to Cerebral Edema. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1137-Bosso)!

<05-12-2016> C1137-Bosso (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st March 2016, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from a man reporting that Bosso was fighting with other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie, at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. On 1st March 2016, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always attacked by the other cat! Even disagreeing, we decided to collect Bosso just like happened with Shadie, as the family was not able to handle the situation and one of the members was sick! Bosso was...

Anima–December Rescue (SPP1711-Browny)!

<04-12-2016> SPP1711-Browny (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPP1712-La La and SPP1713-Hac Chai 2, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th April 2016. La La and Hac Chai 2, that were caught by IACM, are now living in Coloane Kennel under our supervision. Browny was rescued by Anima today on 4th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that she accidently hit Browny in a site of Coloane. Browny’s right hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic and Ms. Peng will responsible the payment of clinic. Browny is having a surgery today. Please be careful when you drive, be sure there is no animal beside your car first! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (C575-Zhai Zhai)!

<04-12-2016> Zhai Zhai is now accommodated in Anima for 33 days until 5th January 2017. C575-Zhai Zhai (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2013, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found with one leg hurt, in a site of Macau. Ms. Lam is the volunteer who helps Anima to take care of dogs and cats in a site. Zhai Zhai was sent to a clinic and stayed there for treatment. Anima decided after the recovery that he has no conditions to go back to that area and as so he was welcome to be part of our family. Zhai Zhai was adopted by Mr. Victor on 19th December 2014.
