Anima in E-Memory event of Estrela do Mar School!

Anima was invited to participate in the event E-Memory, organized by the students of the school Estrela do Mar in Macau. The event began at around 5:30 pm with around 100 students in the beginning, and as usual the speeches came first: by the Principal of the school, followed by our President and Ms. Paulina Luk, our Executive Director. Our messages were about animals, our code of ethics and how can they help us helping the animals! All the event was totally organized by the students with a lot of music. The net income of the event will be donated to Anima by the students’ decision! Thanks for your strong support! Anima – July Sad News (H007 and H008)!

H007-Tic Tic and H008-Tac Tac died today, 8th July 2016! H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), around four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008 -Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note, asking for people to adopt them! H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Two of them died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Adoption (C1190-Jaydon)!

Jaydon was adopted by João on 8th July 2016! C1190-Jaydon (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she found a kitten in the middle of the road near Nova City. She picked up Jaydon and brought him to Anima. Now Jaydon was adopted!. Thanks João! Please help us to help them! Please adopt and never buy! Anima – July Rescue and Return (S012-Cob)!

S012-Cob, a snake,  entered in Anima and was rescued by our staff. Anima receives sometimes this kind of visitors and our job is to help them to return to a safety place. Last time was on 28 May and 25 June 2016, when we received a visit from S010-Urian and S011-Greenie. She was immediately put in the mountain nearby. If you know animals in suffer or in risk, please call us! We may not guarantee to keep them but we will help the maximum we can! Anima – July Sad News (B031-Monchichi)!

B031-Monchichi, still a baby bird, was rescued by Anima on 1st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a baby bird was found in Caminho da Povoação de Cheok Ka that morning. She asked us to help. B031-Monchichi was fostered temporarily by Alvin, our staff, as he is still young and can not eat by himself. It was very difficult for him to survive! He died on 7th July 2016 when we thought he may survive! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Rescue (C1229-Snowie)!

C1229-Snowie (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Cheung reporting that a cat was found on Rua de Inácio Baptista. Her body was full of fleas. Mr. Cheung brought her to the nearby pet shop and asked if we could collect her. C1229-Snowie was brought to Anima and checked by out vet. The temperature was low, she was skinny and slightly dehydrated. C1229-Snowie is fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Ah Peng as she is not able to eat by herself. Thanks Mr. Cheung! C1228-Boebi (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho at around 8:30 pm, reporting that a cat was found lying under a motorcycle in Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro and she was not able to move. C1228-Boebi was sent to a clinic immediately. She was severely dehydrated. She died today, 4th July 2016! R.I.P my friend! Please don’t be cruel! Anima – July Sad News (C561-Nissan)!

Nissan died today, 3rd July 2016! C561-Nissan (F) was rescued by Anima in Taipa on 17 August 2013 and she was around seven years old. She was immediately submitted to a surgery to remove a big ball of hair inside the anus! In 2014 when we had a lot of FIP problems she did a FECV test on 12 March 2014 and the result was positive! Last year she began to be sick and we tried our best to keep her in good conditions. Unfortunately she was not capable to recover and was already entering in suffer. We decided to euthanize her today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Abandonment and Rescue (1758-Batman)!

1758-Batman, around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2016. Yesterday morning when our staff arrived in Anima there was food near our gate and a leash tied up to it. Probably a dog was abandoned there last night. As there was a heavy rain the dog may got scared and escaped. Today this dog in the picture was around Anima and yesterday was found unleashed near Helen Garden! We looked for him and he was found near Anima in the road Altinho de Ka-Ho which is a very dangerous road. He was lying near the cars around the water reservoir. Our staff slowly get his confidence and put him in the rescue van. He is now with us! We are ashamed of who did that! He could be killed!
