Anima – April Adoption (C1136-Mink)!

C1136-Mink was adopted by Mr. Leong on 10th April 2016! C1136-Mink, around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 1st March 2016, after a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a cat went inside his store in Macau and he was not able to catch him. We have lent a cat trap for Mr. Ng to put in the store and we caught him. Mink stayed with us in Anima up to now. Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima – April Adoption (C1140-Poppy)!

C1140-Poppy, around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was hiding under a tree near Rua Dois do Bairro da Concordia. Her body was soaked and the left hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Ray. The result showed that her left hind leg was fractured. She had to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. Now, she was adopted by Mr. João. Thanks Mr. João! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Adoption (C1113-Byron)!

C1113-Byron (M), C1114- Shelley (F), C1115-Keats (M) and C1116-Eyre (F) were rescued by Anima on 31st January 2016, after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that four kittens were found in a plastic bag in a building at Rua da Alegria. Mr. Lau put them in a carton box temporarily as our rescue team went to Red Market to rescue them immediately. They were around two weeks old. Now C1113-Byron was adopted by Mr. Chan! Anima – April Adoption (1674-Jasper)!

1674-Jasper was adopted by Mr. Choi! 1671-Jacker, 1672-Joggi, 1673-Joseph, 1674-Japer, 1675-Jotty with the mother SPP1676-Josha were rescued by Anima on 13th March 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that SPP1676-Josha, around four years old, under our Special Protection Program, with her five puppies, all around three weeks old, were found in a construction site somewhere in Coloane. According to Ms. Cheng, the place was dangerous for the dogs due to the bad weather and the living condition, so she asked us to help. Our rescue team went to the site and found the puppies hiding inside a huge pipe. The puppies were taken out from the pipe and the mother 1676-Josha was rescued as well. Thanks Mr. Choi! Anima – In the Hong Kong Animal Bazzar!

Anima was invited to participate in the Hong Kong Animal Bazzar, an organization of Cat State! The 3rd Animal Bazaar, organized by the Cat State, was held on 9 April and 10 April 2016 in Hong Kong. This time ANIMA was invited to participate and has met friends in Hong Kong. Our booth was at the ground floor of the WAVE building. We had made charity sales and promotion of our organization! The admission was free and HK residents were welcome to bring along their pets! Anima – YMCA visited Us!

Today, 74 people visited us, 17 of them were from YMCA. Thanks for trusting us! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to February 2016, Anima received 1,363 visitors, an increase of 24.1% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased also 42.9% to 10 groups! Anima – April Rescue (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane was rescued on 10th April 2016! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a Facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She is under IV Dripping. Ms. Ng has paid the vet bill of the first clinic! Thanks Ms. Ng! Please help us to help them!
