Anima–September Adoption (T036-Ping Ping)!

<02-09-2022> Today, T036-Ping Ping was adopted by Ms. Leong! An adult turtle, T036-Ping Ping, was rescued by Anima on 27th August 2022, after an e-mail from Ms. Joana asking for our help. Her family was going to move abroad, but she could not bring Ping Ping with them. Ping Ping has been with the family for more than 10 years! She tried to find a new home for T036-Ping Ping, but it was unsuccessful. T036-Ping Ping was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise and living in the pond with other turtles. Today, T036-Ping Ping found the love of a new family. Thanks, Ms. Leong for choosing to adopt! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Newborns (C2748, C2749, C2750, C2751)!

<30-08-2022> C2739-Ripley (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th August 2022, after a message on Facebook from Mr. Sou asking if we could help a pregnant cat in Rua de St. Jose, Edf. San Chi. She gave birth to four kittens, C2748-Rainie, C2749-Rayden, C2750-Remo, C2751-Rudy, today. All family is healthy and will stay in our Cats’ Paradise until the kittens reach a proper age to be adopted. They are hoping to find the love of a new family! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2745-Moonlight)!

<29-08-2022> C2745-Moonlight (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th August 2022, after a call from Mr. Fan reporting that he found Moonlight lying on the street at Patio da Penha with her mouth bleeding, and unable to move. He asked us to help. C2745-Moonlight was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. X-Ray exams and a blood test were done and those revealed that her back bone and spine has no fracture, but X-Ray showed her liver might have an internal bleeding due to trauma. According to the vet, she might had fallen from a height and got trauma on the head. She will be hospitalized in the clinic under treatment and medical care. Thanks, Mr. Fan! Anima–August Rescue (C2747-Ar Gwai)!

<29-08-2022> C2747- Ar Gwai (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th August 2022, after a message from Ms. Chan referring that they caught a black female cat "Ar Gwai" at the motorcycle parking near San Miu supermarket, in Taipa, one year ago. The female cat, Ar Gwai later gave birth to two kittens. All of them were adopted, but Ar Gwai was returned one week later. Ar Gwai has been with two volunteers at one shop's attic. Ms. Chan asked asked us help. After a dessex surgery and today, C2747-Ar Gwai was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks, Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2744-Dune)!

<26-08-2022> C2744-Dune (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Lai referring that a stray cat was hiding under the bushes in front of a library in Jardim de Luís de Camões. She asked us help. The cat was wet, easy to approach and also seems to be sick. Our Rescue team sent C2744-Dune to a clinic directly for consultation and some tests. Physically, he was very dehydrated with jaundice, very skinny and some teeth where missing from one side of his mouth. Also, Dune is a carrier of FIV. The vet recommended Anima to leave him for treatment. C2744-Dune is now hospitalized, under medical care. On 28/8/2022, we received call from the vet that Dune went into coma and soon passed away. Anima–August Return (C2207-Everett)!

<24-08-2022> C2207-Everett (M), C2208-Ethan (M), both around one year old at the time and C2209-Esra (M), around two years old at the time, were all rescued from IAM due to lack of space on the 26th September 2019. C2207-Everett (M), around four years old now, was adopted on 22nd October 2019. The adopter contacted Anima and informed that Everett scaped by a plastic net, biting it months ago. He had seen Everett in the neighbourhood and had been trying to catch him but failed for multiple times. Due to his job and other reasons, the adopter can’t feel able of take care of him anymore. C2207-Everett returned to Anima, living now in our Cats’ Paradise! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (2463-Cupcake)!

<24-08-2022> 2463-Cupcake was rescued by Anima today! Cupcake (F, 8months old), had a traffic accident and got injured two months. IAM rescued her and had surgery. Since the wound was seriously infected, unluckily Cupcake had to amputate her left front leg. Cupcake is now a three-limb dog, and we understand that it is really hard to find an adopter for Cupcake. Anima–August Rescue (C2743-Button)!

<23-08-2022> C2743-Button (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23th August 2022, after a message on Facebook from Ms. Ku referring that a stray cat has fallen from her building and got trapped in the terrace for four days. C2743-Button was caught with IAM help and made health exams. X-Ray images revealed a lumbar vertebra fractured and that was making him unable to urinate and defecate on his own. The cat was paralyzed and aggressive due to his pain. A surgery will be performed later to improve his quality life. Thanks, Ms. Ku and IAM! Please help us to help them!
