Anima – April Rescue (C1154-Akoni)!

C1154-Akoni (M) was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Leonor, reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens (around 1.5 months old) somewhere near a restaurant in Coloane. According to Ms. Leonor, there were four kittens before but the mother always hide the kittens under the raining water channels. Two kittens were drowned and died on Monday after the heavy rain and Ms. Leonor was worried about the rest of them. C1154-Akoni is being taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Ah Peng temporarily as he needs milk feeding. Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1153-Lucifer)!

C1153-Lucifer (M) was rescued by Anima after a call fromMs. Kan. Ms. Kan used to feed C1153-Lucifier somewhere in Taipa but she found him with skin problems a week ago. She sent C1153-Lucifer to a clinic for medical treatment and he was improving. However, C1153-Lucifer will need better care to stabilize the disease and needs to stay in the clinic for a long period of time. Ms. Kan could not afford the hospitalization fee, nor keep C1153-Lucifer in her house. We picked up C1153-Lucifer from the clinic today and Ms. Kan already had the bill paid. Thanks Ms. Kan! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1152-Buffy)!

SPPC1152-Buffy, around three years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele and is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1152-Buffy lives somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for him in the area. She found him very weak and both eyes could barely open yesterday. She caught him this morning and brought to Anima. He also has yellowish discharge and he is anemic, skinny and probably with fat liver. Heart and lungs were clear. Severely dehydrated and with hypothermia. He was not moving and refuses to eat. The prognosis is poor! He is now in V6 under IV dripping, under  close observation! Thanks Michele! Anima – April Rescue and Sad News (1697-Kobee)!

1697-Kobee was rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that she  brought 1697-Kobee to Macau but Kobee had diarrhea with blood and the overall health condition was not good. She took 1697-Kobee to a clinic but could not afford the vet bill. She asked if we could help to pay the vet bill and collect 1697-Kobee. 1697-Kobee has run a Distemper test and Parvovirus test. Both results were positive! The dog died in the clinic during the treatment and his body was sent by Anima to Macau Kennel. The bill will be, exceptionally, paid by us. Please Pay Attention, you must always comply with Macau laws. We will not disclose the details of this case but we strongly ask you to respect our laws being prudent! R.I.P. my friend! 1698-Cuke was rescued already dead by Anima after a call from Mrs. Winnie reporting that the dead body of 1698-Cuke was found near One Oasis and Louis XIII. Anima – April Rescue (1695-Wawa)!

1695-Wawa (F) was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Chiu reporting that 1695-Wawa was found in his working place somewhere in Coloane, this morning. According to Mr. Chiu, it is rare to see a small size dog in that area as most of the dogs living there are medium or large size, so she was probably abandoned. No microchip was found in Wawa. Anima – March Rescue (C1151-Sameen)!

C1151-Sameen (F) was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that C1151-Sameen has been in front of the building where he lives at Patio do Piloto since last night. He was worried about the health of C1151-Sameen as he saw she has difficulty to breath. She was collected by Anima and checked by our vet. She is fine and does not have any respiratory problem. C1151-Sameen has a collar with her, both her ears and fur are very clean. Yet most of her nailsare are broken, some are bleeding. May be she fell down from her house! Thanks Mr. Ho! Anima – March Rescue and Sad News (1694-Witton)!

Yesterday, 1692-Luce was found in the gutter on the roadside near an hotel. No adult dogs or other puppies were seen around the area at the moment. Today we decided to check again and we found the body of 1694-Witton near the bus stop of the same hotel. 1694-Witton was in the gutter by the roadside, close to the location where 1692-Luce was rescued yesterday. The body was already cold and rigid, he probably passed away for some time. There is a wound on the head with bloodstain. 1694-Witton possibly fell down from the mountain. R.I.P. my friend! Anima – March Rescue (1692-Luce)!

1692-Luce, around 15 days old, was rescued by Anima  after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that 1692-Luce was found in the gutter on the roadside near Grand Coloane. No adult dogs or other puppies were seen around the area at the moment. He was fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as he needs milk every three hours, day and night. Anima – March Rescue (SPP1691-Tiger II)!

SPP1691-TigerII, around four years old, is under our Special Protection Program now. He is living in a construction site and our rescue team is responsible for him now in the area. He was found not eating, getting skinny for the past few days, and being nauseous today. SPP1691-Tiger II was sent to a clinic for consultation and ran a tick fever test.
