Anima–September Rescue (SPPC2188-Halima)!

<04-09-2019> SPPC2188-Halima (F), around three years old, is under our SPP program since the 4th September 2019 after a call from Mr. Ho who as been feeding a pregnant cat, but the cat appeared to have a little wound on her leg. However she just gave birth and her kittens are still hiding. Halima was sent to the clinic and then retuned to her site to be with her kittens. Thanks, Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them! Anima – July Rescue (2140-2143)!

<27-07-2019> 2140- Zahira, 2141- Zana, 2142-Zahra, 2143- Zamora, all females and around two months old, were rescued by Anima on the 27th August 2019, after a call from Ms. Long, who found them abandoned in a cardboard box with no water or food! Anima–May Deceased (C1448-Mufasa)!

<11-05-2019> C1448-Mufasa (M), around five years old at the time, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2017. Mufasa was abandoned in front of the entrance of Anima. Mufasa had been struggling with anemia and kidney problems for a while now. Yesterday, he got worse over night and was sent to the clinic. He was weak and couldn’t walk due to a dead leg, which was goinf to be amputated as soon as he got better. Mufasa died today in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – October Rescue and Sad News (C1064-Brianna)!

C1064-Brianna, around three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Ma reporting that a cat was found dying in Rua da Chaves (near Escola Fong Chong da Taipa). She contacted the police and asked us to help also. C1064-Brianna was delivered to a clinic immediately with severe damages on her brains and face, including nose, throat and eyes. She couldn’t breath as the damage was really severe. She was in suffer for some days already, we believe! It seems the head and face was burned! May be she was hit by a car or by someone! After a favorable opinion of a vet and the approval of two board members from Anima, Brianna was euthanized. She was in suffer and there was no way to help her! R.I.P. my friend! Anima March Cruelty (Restaurant eating cat meet in soup)

Anima was informed by Emily, one of our friends that a restaurant in Areia Preta was selling a soup containing cat ingredients. As it was night time we informed informally the Authorities. The restaurant is called ‘’Shun De Snacks’’ in Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta! She also could hear a cat meowing in that place. A formal letter will be sent to IACM next Monday! Thanks Emily!
