Anima- Mrs.Winnie Chui is our Honorary President!

<19-05-2018> Winnie Chui, the wife of the Macau Chief Executive, Dr. Chui Sai On, following an invitation of the President of Anima Board of Directors, has accepted to be a Honorary President of Anima! The proposal of the Board of Directors approved on May 12, 2018, by our constitution needed to be ratified in the next Anima General Assembly! On its meeting of 19 May, 2018, the General Assembly has ratified with an unanimous vote and acclamation this honorific title! Winnie Chui a known friend of animals, has recently adopted one dog from Anima and will adopt some more and has authorised Anima to post her message to our community: Please adopt instead of buying! Anima-Associação de Pais dos Alunos da EPM visited us!

<19-05-2018> Today, 92 people visited us, twelve of them were from Associação de Pais dos Alunos de EPM,  that came to our Dog Shelter! Prof. Francisco Leandro, Board member of Anima, has received them and talked about Anima and our main challenges! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to April 2018, Anima received 3103 visitors, 42 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in six events! Anima-Four Cats Need a home!

<17-05-2018> Please help Dan Dan, Gum Chai, Egg and Girl to find adopters! We received an email from a lady asking us to help her four cats for adoptions as her son got allergy. We don´t like these excuses but we must help the cats now! Living in a Cats shelter is very risky for a normal healthy cat! So we recoommended the owner to keep them and promote the adoption of all! Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (C1891-Johnathan)!

<17-05-2018> C1891-Johnathan (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 17th May 2018, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that a new born kitten was found in R. da Felicidade. He asked us for help. The mother cat was there but she ran away very fast. We were only able to collect C1891-Johnathan. C1891-Johnathan has nasal and ocular discharge. He was temporarily fostered by Ms. Peng as he needs milk feeding. Unfortunately C1891-Johnathan passed away in the evening. Thanks Mr. Ieong and Ms. Peng! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–May Adoption (2016-Cadman)!

<17-05-2018> Cadman was adopted by Ms. Chow on 17th May 2018! 2016-Cadman (M), was rescued by Anima on 5th April 2018 when he was around one month old, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that a puppy, 2016-Cadman was found alone in the Cemitêrio Unido das Associações de Coloane. He brought 2016-Cadman to our Cats’ Paradise for help. 2016-Cadman has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Ms. Chow! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–May Rescue (C1890-Rico)!

<15-05-2018> C1890-Rico (M), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th May 2018, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that she rescued a kitten, C1890-Rico somewhere in Macau last Sunday. C1890-Rico was very weak with running nose. She asked us for help. C1890-Rico was collected and checked by us. He has eyes and nasal discharge and high fever.
