Anima-Sacred Heart Canossian College ES visited us!

<07-04-2018> Today, 50 people visited us, 19 of them were from Sacred Heart Canossian College English Section that came to our Dog Shelter and Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to March 2018, Anima received 2261 visitors, 25 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in three events! Anima–April Rescue (B093-Flash)!

<07-04-2018> B093-Flash was rescued by Anima on 7th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a baby pigeon, B093-Flash fell down outside of his shop and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B093-Flash was sent to a clinic. B093-Flash will stay  there for force feeding as it is still young. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Adoption (C1852-Axell)!

<05-04-2018> Axell was adopted by Mr. Silva on 5th April 2018! C1852-Axell (M), was rescued by Anima on 16th February 2018 when he was around 1.5 months old, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten was found alone at the Forte de Mong Ha. She asked us for help. C1852-Axell was checked by our vet and dewormed. C1852-Axell has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Silva! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–April Rescue (2016-Cadman)!

<05-04-2018> 2016-Cadman (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 5th April 2018, with the help of Mr. Lei reporting that he found a puppy, 2016-Cadman, alone in the Cemitério Unido das Associações de Coloane. He brought 2016-Cadman to our Cats’ Paradise for help. 2016-Cadman was checked by our staff and dewormed. He had some ticks and some rashes on his skin. Anima-April Temporary Accommodation (1979-Zeki)!

<02-04-2018> Zeki will be temporarily accommodated at Anima for treatment! 1979-Zeki (M), was rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018 when he was around two days old, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. Zeki was adopted by Mr. Tai on 27th March 2018! He was found having skin problems and this was informed by the adopter after few days he  was adopted. Now he is returning back to our shelter for treatment. Mr. Tai will get him back when he is recovered. Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! “Easter Kids Carnivals” and Adoption day!

<01-04-2018> Anima was invited to participate in the “Easter Kids Carnivals” event held by the Grand Coloane Resort on 1st April 2018! We set up our Adoption Day booth and around 80 people visited us! We brought out four dogs and six volunteers helped us in the event. They were Diana, Alex, Jillian, Amy, Cat and Andrew. Anima–Rescue and Sad News (C1874-Adas)!

<30-03-2018> C1874-Adas (M), around two days old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that there was a newborn kitten meowing alone under his balcony at Hang Fa Garden. He asked us for help. C1874-Adas was collected by us and temporarily fostered by our staff Ms. Peng for milk feeding. After giving him some milk, some blood came out from his mouth. Unfortunately C1874-Adas passed away shortly. Thanks Mr. Lao and Ms. Peng! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us for adoption! Anima–March SPP Return (SPP1999-Bea)!

<29-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old at that time, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old at that time , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. SPP1999-Bea was sent to a clinic for desex on 26th March 2018. After the surgery, she has returned to her former place. Please help us to help them! Anima–March Rescue (C1873-Sharon)!

<29-03-2018> C1873-Sharon (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he rescued a cat from a ditch at Tou Tei Temple of Largo do Pagode do Patane. He asked us for help. C1873-Sharon was sent to a clinic immediately. She was very weak, dehydrated, full of fleas on her body and had an eye infection. Some blood was found on her body but  no wounds were detected. C1873-Sharon has to stay at the clinic for observation. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them!
