Anima-October Adoption (C1635-Ari)!

<07-10-2017> Ari was adopted by Ms. Lei on 7th October 2017! C1635-Ari (M), around three weeks old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that a kitten was found in Rua da Felicidade and she told us that she had no experience to take care to new born kitten. C1635-Ari was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Ms. Lei! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-October Sad News (SPPC1416-Barry)!

<06-10-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), around three months old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection at that time. On 4th April 2017 he was found with a swollen eye, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration. He has no socket in his joints and shoulder and as so he had difficulty in walking. He also had a poor bone growing in his front leg. He has been taking pain killer for a very long time and he entered in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and...

Anima-October Foster (C1626-Lemon)!

<06-10-2017> Lemon was fostered by Ms. Wong again on 6th October 2017! C1626-Lemon (M), around five years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 2nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that she rescued a cat in Guia Hill when she heard there were some people poisoning the cats. C1626-Lemon was temporarily fostered by Ms. Wong on 4th September 2017. However, he was sick on 18th September and stayed with us until recovery. Now he returned to Ms. Wong´s home again. Anima-October Rescue (SPP1467-Brandon)!

<01-10-2017> SPP1467-Brandon was rescued by Anima on 20th May 2015, after a call from Ms. Wu reporting that Brandon was hit by a car. He had a surgery and returned to his place on 24th September 2015. Today Ms. Wu informed us that Brandon was found limping. Brandon was sent to a clinic and an X-ray showed his left hand was broken. Anima-University of Macao visited us!

<30-09-2017> Today, 19 people visited us, five of them were from University of Macao that came to our Dog Shelter to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to August 2017, Anima received 6,429 visitors, an increase of 36.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 98 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 42.0%, and we have been in 28 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-September Rescue (SPPC1669-Nila)!

<29-09-2017> SPPC1668-Nida (F), SPPC1669-Nila (F), SPPC1670-Noe (M) and SPPC1671-Nik (M), all around 1.5 months old at that time, were under our Special Protection Program since 24th July 2017. SPPC1669-Nila was again rescued by Anima on 29th September 2017 after a call from Michele reporting that Nila was having severe diarrhea for two days. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. Anima-September Foster (C609-Grita)!

<28-09-2017> Grita was fostered by Ms Lola again on 28th September 2017! C609-Grita (F) was rescued by Anima on 19th October 2013 and was temporarily fostered by Ms. Lola on 6th September 2017. She was sent to a clinic due to an upper respiratory problem and ear mites on 21st September 2017. Now she has finished the medication treatment and returned to Ms. Lola's home again.
