Anima–June Rescue (2372-Wong Choi Mui)!

2372-Wong Choi Mui (F), a 16-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 12 June 2021, following a call from Ms. Ieong, an Anima Board Member, reporting that a skinny dog was found wandering on the road of Praia Do Manduco.
Our team was mobilized and noticed the dog was microchipped.
IAM was informed and assisted us contacting the owner.
The owner, however, claimed to be unable to continue taking care of the dog due to financial reasons. Wong Choi Mui was diagnosed with Mammary Gland Tumor and Pyometra last year and has, inclusively, received surgery.
Wong Choi Mui was then welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter.
The dog’s ownership will be transferred to Anima and she will be taken to a clinic for a health check this coming week.
