Anima–August Abandoned (T036-Ping Ping)!

<27-08-2022> Turtle T036-Ping Ping being abandoned! By the end of July, we received a e-mail from Ms. Joana asking for our help. She and her family are moving abroad but she cannot bring along her turtle Ping Ping with them. Ping Ping has been staying with the family for more than 10 years, she tried finding a new home for Ping Ping but was unsuccessful. Since the date of leaving was approaching, Ms. Joana asked Anima to take care of her turtle. Ping Ping is now in Cats’ Paradise and is living in the pond with other turtles. Anima–August Rescue (C2744-Dune)!

<26-08-2022> C2744-Dune (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Lai referring that a stray cat was hiding under the bushes in front of a library in Jardim de Luís de Camões. She asked us help. The cat was wet, easy to approach and also seems to be sick. Our Rescue team sent C2744-Dune to a clinic directly for consultation and some tests. Physically, he was very dehydrated with jaundice, very skinny and some teeth where missing from one side of his mouth. Also, Dune is a carrier of FIV. The vet recommended Anima to leave him for treatment. C2744-Dune is now hospitalized, under medical care. On 28/8/2022, we received call from the vet that Dune went into coma and soon passed away. Anima–August Rescue (2463-Cupcake)!

<24-08-2022> 2463-Cupcake was rescued by Anima today! Cupcake (F, 8months old), had a traffic accident and got injured two months. IAM rescued her and had surgery. Since the wound was seriously infected, unluckily Cupcake had to amputate her left front leg. Cupcake is now a three-limb dog, and we understand that it is really hard to find an adopter for Cupcake. Anima decided to bring Cupcake back to Dog’s Shelter and find her a forever home! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Sad News (398, C1903)!

<06-08-2022> Sadly, two of our fury friends left us today! 398-Tony (M, 14yrs old) was rescued by us in 2009. Our old Tony was diagnosis with malignancy on the head, and he was under treatment. However, the tumor got bigger and bigger. Recently we found that Tony’s eyes were reddish so we sent him to the vet clinic for checkup. According to the vet, the tumor has spread to the eyes area and was erupted too, the condition was really worse. Sadly, today Tony passed away! C1903-Snowie (F, 8yrs old) was rescued nearby Rua da Gamboa by Anima. In early August, Snowie was found weak than before, she was sent to the vet clinic for further check-up. The vet said Snowie has very high kidney indexes and serious heart problem, and she needed to be hospitalized. But there’s no improvement of her condition. We were informed by the...

<06-08-2022> Today we have joined the “Seja um dono responsável - Cuide do seu animal de estimação para sempre” event held by IAM, at Zona de Lazer da Rua da Pareia Oriental, Macau.  Around 60 people joined, including our doggies 849-Fei Jai、1204-Maxi、 2302-Siu Baak and 2405-A-Mui. Anima–August Sad News (C2147-Lulu)!

<02-08-2022> C2147-Lulu (F, 4yrs old) was rescued from Macau kennel in June 2019. In mid-April this year, Lulu was found very skinny, she was sent to the vet clinic for check-up. According to the vet, Lulu has inflammation of gallbladder and bloody abdominal fluid. Since Lulu was in good spirit, she was returned to Anima for further treatment. Lulu has taken medication for more than a month. Sadly this morning she passed away. Anima will miss her smile and companionship. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
