Anima–December Rescue (B184-Carlo)!

<08-12-2020> B184-Carlo, a young dove, was rescued by Anima on 8th December 2020, after we received a call from Ms. Carla reporting that she found a young dove on R. de Nam Keng crossing the street with a lot of traffic and he could not fly. She has looked at the nearby trees but could not see a nest. Ms. Carla brought B184-Carlo to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, the young dove was a little nervous and not eating by himself. He will be fed until he gets stronger to be released later. B184-Carlo will be hospitalized, and he stays safe under observation for now. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima–December Abandonment (C2442-Aladdin)!

<07-12-2020> C2442-Aladdin (M), around one and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that there was an abandonment of a cat (British Shorthair) because the owner could not afford vet expenses as C2442-Aladdin has kidney problems and might need a surgery later. C2442-Aladdin was licensed in Macau Kennel today, received the rabies vaccination and he was sent to a clinic for further examination. An ultrasound image indicated that urinary crystals were forming in the urine which then irritate the bladder lining and causing a blockage. Anima–December Rescue (C2441-Phoenix)!

<04-12-2020> C2441-Phoenix (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2020, after we received a facebook message from Ms. Cheang reporting that there was a cat unable to move and lying on the road in Trav. dos Alfaiates. Someone passed by and gave a towel to the cat, saying that the cat came out from the construction site beside that area. Our rescue team went to the site and found the cat barely moving. C2441-Phoenix was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately. She was severe dehydrated. According to the vet, Phoenix will need to be stable before they can make something else. Anima-December Sad News (C1479-Marfy)!

<04-12-2020> C1478-Marlo (M), born on 21st March 2013, C1479-Marfy (F), born on 23rd February 2014, C1480-Mukki (F), born on 14th March 2014 and C1481-Muji (F), born on 1st January 2015, were rescued by Anima after a call from IACM reporting that as they have no space, those cats were now prepared to go to Anima. They were all neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated. All were welcome to Anima and then delivered to Cats’ Paradise. C1479-Marfy got sick, recently and she is receiving subcutaneous fluid every day. Unfortunately, her condition got worst and she died in our Cats’ Paradise this morning. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (C2440-Eden)!

<03-12-2020> C2440-Eden (F), around 10 weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd December 2020, after our staff found out that there are many stray cats near Bairro das Missões and I.A.M. was also working to catch them. Eden is the sickest kitten with heavy ocular discharge. Our Rescue team picked up her first and brought her to our clinic. C2440-Eden is now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, I.A.M.! Anima-December Adoption (C1856-Jill)!

<02-12-2020> C1856-Jill was adopted today by Ms. Tracy! C1856-Jill (F), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2018, after being abandoned outside of our Dogs’ Shelter area. C1856-Jill was inside a container bag that was hanging on the fence of the Reservoir near our building. She was checked by our vet. There were two wounds on her right thigh and left anus. C1856-Jill was sent to a clinic immediately as the wounds were very deep and large. According to the vet, the wounds could not be closed by sutures, but she would recover soon with treatment. Anima-New SPP dog (SPP2325-Kimi)!

<01-12-2020> SPP2325-Kimi (F), around six months old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Wong’s responsibility in a Ka Ho workshop (Coloane). Ms. Wong reported that there was a female dog who needs to be desexed before getting pregnant. Anima is going to help providing dog food and bring her to a clinic for a spay surgery.
