Anima-New SPP cat (SPPC2386-Pepper)!

<08-08-2020> SPPC2386-Pepper (M), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s responsibility at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Ms. Carla reported that there was a grey male cat who seems to be in pain from all the bites of flees and parasites in his fur at her workplace. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2386-Pepper and he was directly brought to a clinic. After consultation, SPPC2386-Pepper was dewormed, defleaed and desexed. He will stay one night at the clinic for observation. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Never abandon your pets! Anima-September Sad News (C2135-Icarus)!

<07-09-2020> C2135-Icarus (M), around one year old by the time, was rescued on the 12th June 2019 from the kennel due to lack of space and he was welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise! In August, Icarus was getting skinny and anemic with dry discharge on his face. Blood test results showed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and medication was prescribed. Recently, C2135-Icarus was sent to a clinic where they suspect that he had Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). He came back to our Cats’ Paradise and started the treatment with medication. However, C1754- Icarus started to be lethargic, lost appetite and having difficulty breathing today. He was sent to the clinic again for closely observation, but Anima was informed, later that C1754- Icarus passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
