Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1194, SPPC1195)!

SPPC1194-Glenda (F), around ten months old, with SPPC1195-Dessa (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th May 2016, after a call  reporting that Glenda was found pregnant and Dessa needed to be de-sexed. They are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). Glenda is staying with us to give birth. Dessa will be returned to her place after de-sex and she will be taken care by Michele. Anima – May Return to Family (SPP1484-Daxon)!

See Daxon when he was rescued and after adopted! Thanks Giulian! SPP1484-Daxon and SPP1483-Dax were under Anima Special Protection Program on 26th June 2015, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng reporting that two puppies (on the time around 2.5 months old) were found sick somewhere in Coloane! Daxon was adopted by Giulian on 10th August 2015. He stayed with us for 11 days and was returned to the family today! Very good job Giulian and family! Please Adopt and Never buy! Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1193-Paddy II)!

SPPC1193-Paddy II (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 17th May 2016, after a call from her reporting that his mouth smelled bad and seemed painful to eat dry food. He is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). We had to sedate to check him up as he was being grumpy when we touched his mouth. He got very reddish gums with tartar in the premolar and molar teeth. He needs dental scaling ASAP. The mandibular lymph nodes were swollen also. He had fleas all over his body. Anima – May Rescue (1728-Lok Lok II)!

1728-Lok Lok II (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Isabel reporting that Lok Lok II was staying in a pet shop for long time and he was caged. Almost one year ago, Lok Lok II had been found abandoned and wandering at Estrada de Coelho do Amaral for two days when was caught by IACM. Someone rescued him from IACM and sent him to a pet shop for accommodation. But the pet shop closed down two months ago and Lok Lok II was transferred to another shop. Ms. Isabel used to visit Lok Lok II and took him for a walk, but she noticed that he lost trust on people and became very scared of stick-shaped objects, probably he had been abused before in the first shop. Anima – May Rescue (C1192-Citrus)!

C1192-Citrus (M), around three days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a kitten was found at Wastewater Treatment Plant. Citrus was brought to Anima by Mr. Chan. He was checked and dewormed. He will be taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he still needs milk feeding. Thanks Mr. Chan! Anima – 15th May, Adoption Day in New Sintra Plaza!

Beginning in February 2016, Anima is holding two adoption days outside Anima on the second and last Sunday of every month. Around 30 people have visited us today at New Sintra Plaza! We were supported by six volunteers, Kenny, Lily, Iris, Cherry, Martha, Varlei and we took six of our dogs. Today in the adoption day, we received one applications for adoption! Anima – May Rescue (1727-Sophia)!

1727-Sophia (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that he found a poodle in Rua Dois da Cidade Nova de Toi San without collar and leash. We found that Sophia has a microchip. She has skin problem, alopecia, poor coat condition and a very huge mammary gland tumor was found in upper right side and a small in the lower right. It is not a good prognosis and she will need a surgery to remove them as soon as possible. Her right ear got a huge infection,  was severely inflamed and seems very painful as she tried to bite us when we touch it. She is staying in our vet area now. Thanks Mr. Lao! Anima – May Adoption (C1187-Jirina)!

Jirina was adopted by Ana on 14th May 2016! C1187-Jirina (F), on the time around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st May 2016, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten was found in Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga two days ago. According to Ms. Lei, there was one adult cat stayed with Jirina in the same area, but the cat was killed by a car. Probably the cat was her mother. We collected Jirina to Anima. She had high fever and an eye infection and she was monitored closely on that time. Jirina stayed with us in Anima up to now. Thanks Ana! Please help us to help them! Anima – May Adoption (C1115-Keats)!

Keats was adopted by Ms. Hao on 14th May 2016! C1115-Keats (M), with C1113-Byron (M), C1114- Shelley (F) and C1116-Eyre (F), on the time around two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 31st January 2016 after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that four kittens were found in a plastic bag in a building at Rua da Alegria. Mr. Lau put them in a carton box temporarily as our rescue team went to Red Market to rescue them immediately. Keats stayed with us in Anima up to now. Thanks Ms. Hao! Please help us to help them! Anima – May Rescue (B027-Goda)!

B027-Goda was rescued by Anima on 13th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Chang reporting that a bird fell down from a tree in NAPE and was not able to fly.
