Anima–March Rescue and Returned (2495-Moppy)!

<13-03-2023> The dog Yorkshire Terrier, 2495-Moppy (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th March 2023, after a tourist rang the bell of our Cats’ Paradise, saying that he found a dog with a harness in the middle of the road on Av. De Cinco de Outubro. He asked us help after waiting a long time to check if there was an owner nearby. Moppy was sent to a pet shop for grooming and stayed there overnight. The owner contacted us on the next morning, referring what happened. Moppy was returned back to his family! Thanks, to the tourist and all people willing to help Moppy! Please help us to help them! Anima-Coco returned home!

<01-05-2021> Coco was returned today to her owner. 2363-Coco (F), a poodle around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2021, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting to have found a dog wandering near Rotunda da Concórdia. Coco had no microchip and was rescued and sent to our Dogs’ Shelter. A couple hours later, we were contacted by the owner who claimed that Coco escaped from their house at Estrada de Lai Chi Vun. Today, Coco returned to her family. Coco will receive her license and microchip next Tuesday in IAM. Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Please help us to help them! Anima-Watkins returned home!

<10-01-2021> Our cat C2446-Watkins (M) was returned today to his owner, Mr. Lei. Rescued on last December 15th, Watkins was found meowing trapped between two buildings in Rua da Ribeira do Patane. Our Rescue team rescued Watkins with the help of a neighbour. Watkins was wearing a blue collar but he had no microchip and the owner was not found initially. Watkins was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. The owner would later be found and informed us that Watkins had escaped through a window. Prior to returning the cat, we have made sure that Watkins was microchipped and that all necessary changes were made to the owner’s apartment in order to ensure Watkins’ safety. Anima–October Return to Family (B174-Budgia)!

<23-10-2020> B174-Budgia, an adult turquoise quaker, was rescued by Anima on 22 October 2020, after we received a Facebook message from Ms. Liu reporting that she found a bird, B174-Budgia, falling on to the streets near Edf. Fong Ieng. She asked us help as the bird cannot fly and is used to humans’ interactions with him. B174-Budgia was sent to a clinic with Ms. Liu’s help and she stays safe there until now. This morning, Anima received a Facebook Message from the owner of B174-Budgia, Ms. Sandra Tang claiming that she is her pet (Fei Mui), and she proofs her ownership. Ms. Tang reported also that Fei Mui accidently scaped from her house while her mother was cleaning the windows. B174-Budgia was returned to her family. Thanks, Ms. Liu and Ms. Tang! Anima – January Returned (C2197; C2199)!

<01-01-2020> C2197- Bobby (M), C2198- Babbie (F), C2199- Bubble (M), Batette (F), all around three weeks old at the time, were rescued by Anima on the 20th September 2019 after a call from Mr. Wan who found them under a car, abandoned by their mother. Bobby and Bubble were adopted by Ms. Maria on the 26th October 2019! They stayed in Anima for temporary accommodation from the 14th December 2019 until today! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided if we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). <17-12-2019> SPP1123-Ruby (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd August 2013 and adopted by Mr. Pan on the 29th September 2013. Ruby stayed in Anima in Temporary Accommodations since the 11th December 2019 until today. She was returned to her family today!
