Anima – May Rescue (SPP1646 and SPP1649)!

SPP1646-Lambo (M) and SPP1649-Lafone (F), together with SPP1647-Laggon (F) , SPP1648-Languid (M), and SPP1650-Limona (F), on the time around one month old, and the mother, SPP1651-Linna, around two years old, were under our Special Protection Program from the 4th of February 2016. They lived in a construction site somewhere in Coloane and Ms. Yuen was responsible for them in that area. Today Ms. Yuen reported that the site is closing down and the people from the site would contact IACM to catch all the dogs if they don’t move them out from the site. We decided to collect all of them. Laggon was already with us from 14th April 2016, as he was caught by a car and lost one leg. He had a surgery and is staying with us now. Lambo and Lafone were brought to shelter today, they are living with their sibling Laggon now. Linna and Limona were adopted...

Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (1716-Jano)!

1716-Jano (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Ricardo reporting that a dead body was found near Seac Pai Van. The body was already slightly deformed because of the worms, possibly has been dead over a day. No notorious wound was found on the body and we collected it! R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Please do not be cruel! Anima – May Adoption (1170-Kaiuna)!

Kaiuna before when rescued and now being adopted by Mr. Timothy on 3rd May 2016! 1170-Kaiuna (F), with 1169-Keifo (F), 1171- Shiro (M) and 1172-Kazuki (M) were rescued by Anima on 21st November 2013. Someone adopted these four puppies out of Anima. Three days afterwards the lady who adopted them, called Anima telling that she found them in a box near a garbage bin in S. Francisco garden. She lied and we were very rude with her. We collected them to Anima. Kaiuna was first adopted on 29th November 2013 but returned by the first adopter on 30th June 2014 invoking that they had a new baby. We were totally disappointed with such irresponsible attitude! Anima – May Return to Family (1625-Wallace)!

See Wallace now and Wallace after the rescue and when was adopted! 1625-Wallace was returned to the family after being accommodated in Anima for four days, since 29th April 2016. 1625-Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Anima – May Rescue and Return (SPP1687-Clinat)!

SPP1687-Clinat (F), around two years old, with her son SPP1686-Clino (M), on the time around 2.5 months old were under our Special Protection Program from the 21st March 2016, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat live in a construction site somewhere in Macau. According to Mr. Lei, SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat were very skinny even though there was a man feeding the dogs very often, but they were too afraid to come out to eat the food. We support them with food, de-sex surgery and vaccination. Clinat was spayed in clinic and returned to her place today. Thanks Mr. Lei! Please be responsible! De-sex your pets! Anima – May Adoption (C1151-Sameen)!

Sameen was adopted by Ms. Fong on 3rd May 2016! C1151-Sameen (F) was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that C1151-Sameen had been in front of the building where he lived at Patio do Piloto since 29th February. He worried about the health of C1151-Sameen as he saw she had difficulty to breath. She was collected by Anima and checked by our vet. She was fine and didn’t have any respiratory problem. C1151-Sameen had a collar with her, both her ears and fur were very clean. Yet most of her nails were broken, some were bleeding. May be she fell down from her house! Anima – Our Lady of Fatima Girl’s School Visited Us!

Today, 24 people visited us, 20 of them were students from Our Lady of Fatima Girl's School! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to April 2016, Anima received 2,598 visitors, an increase of 10.51% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased to 22 groups! Anima – May Sad News (C1162-Raziya)!

C1162-Raziya (F) was rescued by Anima  on 15th April 2016 and died today! Raziya, on the time around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was found in Red Market. Raziya was sent to clinic for consultation on 25th April due to vomiting. She also started having diarrhea in the clinic, was dehydrated and has malnutrition. She was under IV dripping and stayed in the clinic for observation. Her blood sugar had started to maintain on 27th April but the diarrhea was not improving. We were informed by the clinic that Raziya passed away at the midnight on 1st May. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – May Adoption (SPP1705-Darcey)!

Darcey was adopted by Ms. Ieong on 1st May 2016! SPP1705-Darcey (M), on the time around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1705-Darcy was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F). They were living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. SPP1705-Darcy refused to eat since 16th April and seemed sick! Our rescue team collected SPP1705-Darcy and sent to a clinic. A distemper test was run and the result indicated NEGATIVE. SPP1705-Darcy was staying in the clinic overnight for observation. After that he stayed with our supervisor Ms. Zoe until he was adopted.
