Anima–May Adoption (C2303-Yava)!

<09-05-2020> Yava was adopted by Ms. Lam, today! C2303-Yava (F), around five months old, was rescued by ANIMA after we received a message on Facebook by Ms. Loi, reporting that she found a kitten, C2303-Yava that fell from the top of her building (Edf. Man Wai) at Rua do Seminário on the night before. She asked us to help. Ms. Loi tried to ask the neighbors information about C2303-Yava to find if she had an owner around there, without success. C2303-Yava was clinically observed and has been in our Cats’ Paradise until now. Yava was adopted by Ms. Lam, today! Thanks, Ms. Lam! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–May Rescue (2271-Pekkle)!

<09-05-2020> 2271-Pekkle (M), around one day old, was rescued by ANIMA on 9th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Chou informing that 2271-Pekkle was found in a trail of Rede de Trilhos do Nordeste de Coloane with his body full of flies, when she was hiking. Ms. Chou brought him immediately to Anima. 2271-Pekkle was clinically observed and now temporarily fostered by our staff member, Ms. Zoe, for milk feeding. Thanks, Ms. Chou and Ms. Zoe! Anima–April Return (SPP2234; SPP2236)!

<30-04-2020> SPP2234-Benson, SPP2235-Stacey, SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2237-Sabella, all siblings around 3 months old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 8th March 2020, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that SPP2237-Sabella was found dead in the site without any signs or symptoms of diseases. SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2234-Benson were adopted on the 20th October 2019, but they returned today to Anima by the adopter due to their bad behavior towards a new environment in her house. <26-04-2020> Barbara was adopted by Ms. Chan, today! SPP2146-Barbie (F), around 3 years old, mother dog of SPP2148-Banko (M), around 1.5 years old, together are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 6th August, 2019. SPP2148-Banko and SPP2146-Barbie with her new 4 puppies, 2266-Bryson (M), 2267-Blythe (F), 2268-Blair (F) and 2269-Barbara (F), all around 3 months old, were caught by IAM on 5th April 2020. Anima–April Return (B146-Cheetie)!

<25-04-2020> B146-Cheetie, a young dove, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2020, after a call from our staff Zoe reporting that a bird had been hiding under a van on R. de Kun Iam Tong, as reported by workers from a mechanic shop. B146-Cheetie’s tail feathers were falling out. Ms. Zoe sent B146-Cheetie to a Clinic for treatment. B146-Cheetie stayed in the clinic and today was returned to Nature! Thanks, Ms. Zoe! Anima–April Sad News (C2139-Rita)!

<14-04-2020> C2136-Rex, C2137-Raven, C2138-Roti and C2139-Rita were born on 16th June 2019, from the mother cat C2114-Raina. Today, C2139-Rita was found dead in our Cats’ Paradise. She was diagnosed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and after further examination, her death might have been due to a cardiac arrest. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Adoption (C2253-Fenella)!

<06-04-2020> Fenella was adopted today by Mr. Seng! C2253-Fenella (F), around five months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 13th December 2019 after a call from Mr. Yim on 11th December 2019, who found a cat on the rooftop of his building. Mr. Yim was afraid that the cat would jump or fall and asked us to help. Our rescue team caught her and she has been in our Cats’ Paradise. Fenella was adopted today by Mr. Seng! Thanks, Mr. Seng! Anima–April Sad News (C1165-Cowie)!

<01-04-2020> C1165-Cowie (M), around two years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that there was a cat always coming from the terrace of the building where she lives. Anima lent a container to Mr. Chui to catch the cat because he was living on 5th floor and used to feed the cats in terrace. Mr. Chui caught C1165-Cowie and he has been in Anima since then. Nowadays, C1165-Cowie was seen with yellowish eye discharge, lethargic and also dehydrated. He was sent to a Clinic for consultation. Exams and an X-ray showed an abnormality in his intestine suggesting that Cowie has an intussusception and surgery was needed. On 31st March 2020, Cowie was getting worse as his body had low temperature. He had twice seizures and LAC due to a possible liver failure, according to the vets. C1165-Cowie passed away today...
