Anima–December Adoption (C2445-Bumbo)!

<14-12-2020> Bumbo was adopted today by Ms. Carla! C2445-Bumbo (F), a kitten around eight weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2020, after we received a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was hiding under the bumper of his car at Estrada de Pac On. Our Rescue team was mobilized and, with the help of I.A.M., managed to rescue the kitten. Bumbo seemed healthy and was sent to our Cats’ Paradise where she was checked, defleaed and dewormed. Anima-December Adoption (C2420-Hiro)!

<14-12-2020> Hiro was adopted today by Ms. Carvalho! C2420-Hiro (M), around six weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 27 October 2020, after we received a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she saw a kitten being chased by four dogs and hidden between the rocks on an abandoned site on Rua de Viseu, two days before. Rescue Team went there and found the kitten hidden in a hole on the slope at the site. He was sent to a clinic to check his weak hind legs. According to the vet, X-ray results showed no fracture and Hiro was maybe limping due to a neuron problem. C2420-Hiro was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise with prescribed medication. Anima-Choi Kai Yau College (UM) visited us!

<09-12-2020> Today, we were visited by 29 people, of which 14 were from Choi Kai Yau College of University of Macau who came to our Dogs’ Shelter. Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! Anima–August Rescue and Sad News (C2375-Melanie)!

<10-08-2020> C2375-Melanie (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Pang referring that she saw an injured and bleeding cat near Yuet Tung Pier. Anima–May Miscarriage (C2353, C2354, C2355)!

<26-05-2020> C2353-Marie (F), around 6 months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th may 2020, after a call from Mr. Peter regarding that her cat, C2353-Marie was having difficult to give birth for a while and today there is a kitten stuck in her pelvic canal. According to Mr. Peter, he has asked the quotation from the veterinary clinic but he can’t afford the expenses as he has no job now. He asked us to help. C2353-Marie was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, caesarean is required. Two dead kittens, C2354-Merida and C2355-Muppets were removed from the uterus. Anima–May Adoption (C2303-Yava)!

<09-05-2020> Yava was adopted by Ms. Lam, today! C2303-Yava (F), around five months old, was rescued by ANIMA after we received a message on Facebook by Ms. Loi, reporting that she found a kitten, C2303-Yava that fell from the top of her building (Edf. Man Wai) at Rua do Seminário on the night before. She asked us to help. Ms. Loi tried to ask the neighbors information about C2303-Yava to find if she had an owner around there, without success. Anima–May Rescue (2271-Pekkle)!

<09-05-2020> 2271-Pekkle (M), around one day old, was rescued by ANIMA on 9th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Chou informing that 2271-Pekkle was found in a trail of Rede de Trilhos do Nordeste de Coloane with his body full of flies, when she was hiking. Ms. Chou brought him immediately to Anima. 2271-Pekkle was clinically observed and now temporarily fostered by our staff member, Ms. Zoe,  for milk feeding. Thanks, Ms. Chou and Ms. Zoe!
