Anima-July Rescue (B161-Gilly)!

<28-07-2020> B161-Gilly was rescued by Anima on 28th July 2020, after a person brought over a bird that he picked up near Coloane to our Dogs' Shelter, as the bird seemed to have his leg injured and couldn’t fly. Gilly was immediately sent to a clinic for treatment. He was diagnosed with paralysis. B161-Gilly will stay in the clinic under medical care. Thanks, community! Please help us to help them! Anima–July Foster Family (C2362-Shannon)!

<27-07-2020> Shannon was fostered by Ms. Pamela, today! C2362-Shannon (F), around one month old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 2nd July 2020, after being brought by Mr. Peter, who reported that two days before he met a cat mother with four kittens near Jockey Club. They were scared and all ran off except one kitten. The kitten, C2362-Shannon, was left behind as both of her hind legs couldn’t move and seemed paralyzed. She was sent to a clinic for an x-ray. Results showed some abnormal vertebrae and it could be caused by malnutrition or infection. C2362-Shannon recovered and she has been in our Cats’ Paradise. Shannon was fostered by Ms. Pamela, today! Anima–May Miscarriage (C2353, C2354, C2355)!

<26-05-2020> C2353-Marie (F), around 6 months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th may 2020, after a call from Mr. Peter regarding that her cat, C2353-Marie was having difficult to give birth for a while and today there is a kitten stuck in her pelvic canal. According to Mr. Peter, he has asked the quotation from the veterinary clinic but he can’t afford the expenses as he has no job now. He asked us to help. C2353-Marie was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, caesarean is required. Two dead kittens, C2354-Merida and C2355-Muppets were removed from the uterus. Anima–May Adoption (C2303-Yava)!

<09-05-2020> Yava was adopted by Ms. Lam, today! C2303-Yava (F), around five months old, was rescued by ANIMA after we received a message on Facebook by Ms. Loi, reporting that she found a kitten, C2303-Yava that fell from the top of her building (Edf. Man Wai) at Rua do Seminário on the night before. She asked us to help. Ms. Loi tried to ask the neighbors information about C2303-Yava to find if she had an owner around there, without success. <09-05-2020> 2271-Pekkle (M), around one day old, was rescued by ANIMA on 9th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Chou informing that 2271-Pekkle was found in a trail of Rede de Trilhos do Nordeste de Coloane with his body full of flies, when she was hiking. SPP2146-Barbie (F), around 3 years old, mother dog of SPP2148-Banko (M), around 1.5 years old, together are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 6th August, 2019. SPP2148-Banko and SPP2146-Barbie with her new 4 puppies, 2266-Bryson (M), 2267-Blythe (F), 2268-Blair (F) and 2269-Barbara (F), all around 3 months old, were caught by IAM on 5th April 2020. <25-04-2020> B146-Cheetie, a young dove, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2020, after a call from our staff Zoe reporting that a bird had been hiding under a van on R. de Kun Iam Tong, as reported by workers from a mechanic shop. B146-Cheetie’s tail feathers were falling out. Ms. Zoe sent B146-Cheetie to a Clinic for treatment. B146-Cheetie stayed in the clinic and today was returned to Nature! Thanks, Ms. Zoe!
