Anima–July Rescue (SPP2299-Kinki)!

SPP2299-Kinki (F), around seven months old and from our Special Protection Program (SPP) under Ms. Chan’s responsibility, was rescued by Anima on 31st July 2020, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that he had an accident hitting a dog, SPP2299-Kinki, with his car in Largo da Ponte de Coloane.
He asked us help.
Anima staff went to the site with two volunteers and rescued the dog into a safe zone.
SPP2299-Kinki was immediately sent to a clinic.
X-Ray results revealed that her pelvis is fractured. According to the vet, it can heal without any surgery.
SPP2299-Kinki will be hospitalized in the clinic for close observation and specific medical care.
