Anima–April Sad News (C2222-London)!

<01-04-2024> C2222-London (M), one of our cats, lost weight and had yellowish gum with mouth discharge recently. Blood test was done and results showed health problems on the liver and also anemia. According to the vet, it was suspected that he had cholangiohepatitis. Even after medication and treatments, his health condition was not getting better. Unfortunately, C2222-London was found passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <28-03-2024> Three kittens, C2925-Adrian, C2926-Beau and C2927-Cove, all males around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 28th March 2024, after our Rescue Team found them in Hac Sa. <26-03-2024> C2183-Alora was sent to a clinic as she did not stop bleeding from a wound on her hind legs. Health exams showed that Alora has an autoimmune disease and she was anemic. Anima–March Abandonment (C1379-Somen)!

<26-03-2024> C1376-Udon (F), C1377-Soba (F), C1378-Ramen (M) and C1379-Somen (M), were rescued by Anima on 8th January 2017, when they were around one month old, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he used to feed a female cat but the cat was bitten by a dog and died. The female cat left four kittens and Mr. Iong didn’t know how to take care of them. Udon and Ramen were fostered temporarily by our cats’ supervisor, Mrs. Connie. Soba and Somen were fostered temporarily by our assistant supervisor Effie, as they needed milk feeding. Somen grew up and he was adopted by Mr. Pedro on 14th February 2017. Unfortunately, Mr. Pedro need to leave the cat with a friend due to his shifts at work. His friend accepted to take care of C1379-Somen, but recently got retired and he needs to leave Macau, back to his homeland. C1379-Somen was returned to Anima...

<20-03-2024> SPP1277-Porter (M), around nine years and 11 months old, SPP1296-Fei Fei (F), around 11 years old, together with SPP1178-Louis (M) and SPP1179-Ronaldo, both around 10 years old, were rescued by Anima on 20th March 2024, after a call from IAM regarding no more space for animals. Anima–March Adoption (C2877-Ball Ball)!

<18-03-2024> Ball Ball was adopted today, by Ms. Wong! C2877-Ball Ball (F), around two years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 12th November 2023, after a call from Mr. Wong referring that his friend living in Edf. Iong Keng had a neighbor who always let his cat outside the building, wandering alone. Also, there were poor conditions of living in the apartment for a pet. Anima–March Rescue (C2924-Dolly)!

<14-03-2024> C2924-Dolly (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2024, after Ms. Chan referring that she is a tourist from Guangzhou together with her friend, and they found a ragdoll up the hill on Estr. da Aldeia in Coloane. The cat was scared, hiding next to a rock. C2924-Dolly, the cat, has no microchip and he is not castrated. He was sent to a clinic for further health exams.
