Anima–August Sad News (531-Hac Sa)!

<15-08-2022> 531-Hac-Sa (M), one of our senior dogs, got sick recently. He was found not very active, with no appetite and getting worse. This morning he refused to eat and vomited some yellowish fluids. 531-Hac-Sa was imediately sent to a clinic. Unfortunately, Anima was later informed that he passed away in the clinic. 531-Hac-Sa had a serious heart disease and, together with an advanced age not much could be done. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–August Rescue (SPP1476-Orson)!

<09-08-2022> SPP1476-Orson (M), with seven years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) at Hac Sa beach in Coloane, with people and Anima employees responsible for him. Recently, someone noticed that Orson was not eating and was losing weight. Orson was sent to a veterinary clinic where a not identified object was seen in his stomach. He was hospitalized to check the stomach contents. If no bodies were detected, a swelling of the spleen due to a tumor was suspected. After diagnosis, the foreign body in the stomach was excreted. The vet tested him for parasitic blood diseases and he is positive for Elrlichia. SPP1476-Orson will stay at the clinic until recover. Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2737-Chivas)!

<04-08-2022> C2737-Chivas (M), around one month and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 4th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that she rescued a kitten, C2737-Chivas, which was wandering between motorcycles near Rua do Tarrafeiro last night. She asks us help. Ms. Kuok brought him in the afternoon to our Cat’s Paradise. C2737-Chivas is healthy and staying with us under quarantine. Thanks, Ms. Kuok! Please help us to help them! <03-08-2022> 2460-Cupid (F) and the sibling, 2461-Cypress (M), both around three months old, are now under our SPP program and they were rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2022, from Marble Factory Area. They are under the responsibility of Mr. Fai in their place. 2460-Cupid was sent to the clinic due to a lump on the chest. Cypress was very dirty, and he had to take a shower. Anima–July Sad News (153-YY)!

<29-07-2022> 153-YY (F), one of our senior dogs, got sick recently. She was found not very active, with a hard breathing and fever. In a vet, 153-YY was diagnosed with a tumor in her heart. Treatments were started. Unfortunately, she passed away today with a heart failure. Her body will be later delivered in IAM. Anima will miss her smile and companionship. Please help us to help them!
