Anima–SPP1203-Mui Mui has disappeared!

<19-07-2017> SPP1203-Mui Mui (F), a white dog, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), together with SPP819-Gor Gor (M), a dark brown dog, from 22nd January 2014, and she lived near Miramar Restaurant in Coloane. We have detected the disappearance of Mui Mui on Monday and we tried immediately to find her. Up to now we were nor able to find her even using Gor Gor with us. Mui Mui was a very gentle lady and never went too far away of her place. Anima has provided two houses for Mui Mui and Gor Gor and they were being taken care by the staff of Miramar Restaurant! It is not normal that she does not come to her place! It was confirmed that she was not collected by IACM! If you find her or if you know anything about her, please let us know! Thanks! Anima–Save the Macau Greyhounds!

<14-07-2017> Anima, GREY2K USA Wordwide and Pet Levrieri of Italy are contacting now Animal Welfare Organizations and Rescue Centers all over the world to help Anima to re-home our greyhounds, in case the Macau Government is capable with us to convince Canidrome to give to us all those animals  allowing Anima to handle Canidrome area for one year time! This is the joint appeal, launched by the three organizations,  called 'Global Rehoming Appeal for the Canidrome Greyhounds' on how to help Anima Macau save the 650 greyhounds still alive and active at the Canidrome. Anima-Temporary Accommodation (1827-Eris)!

<10-07-2017> 1827-Eris, is now accommodated in Anima for 20 days, until 29th July 2017, by our member Ms. Irene. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership...

Anima–Agreement between Anima and Cotai Water Jet!

<07-07-2017> After negotiations with Cotai Water Jet, it was agreed that from July 2017 on, and for a trial period of six months: when you travel back to your country using Hong Kong Airport, you can now transport your pet (only dogs or cats) from Cotai (Taipa) to Macau Ferry Terminal in Hong Kong (Sheung Wan), provided the cage of your pet can be transported by you in one hand! For that you need to contact Cotai Water Jet four days in advance and buy all seats of a cabine having all the papers of your pet and transit permits in order! As you know now the situation is that: the pets are being transported by a cargo boat in Macau Inner Port during all night to Hong Kong before they go to the Airport! Anima–June Adoption (C1566-Dino)!

<17-06-2017> Dino was adopted by Ms. Lam on 17th June 2017! C1544-Dallas (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 24th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Leong, informing that she has been hearing a kitten crying for a couple of days above her apartment in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai and no sign of the mother cat. She asked for help. We went to check and contacted the fire department for help. C1544-Dallas was rescued on 24th May 2017, but was missing two. C1561-Dorothy (F) was rescued on 28 May 2017 and was around two months old! C1566-Dino (M) was rescued on 30th May 2017, and was around two months old. Dino was checked by our vet and de-wormed. Anima–June Adoption (C1588 and C1589)!

<17-06-2017> Hanna and Hanni were adopted by Ms. Carla on 17th June 2017! C1588-Hanna (F), C1589-Hanni (F) and C1590-Hunny (M), all around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 11th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Lao, informing that there were three kittens trapped in the balcony of the second floor of the Edifício (building) Tim Chui. Hunny was dead already and his body was collected and delivered to IACM. C1588-Hanna and C1589-Hanni were checked by out vet, de-wormed and sprayed with Frontline. They were delivered to Cats’ Paradise and now both were adopted. Thanks Ms. Carla! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–June Foster (SPPC1474-Janice)!

<17-06-2017> Janice was fostered by Ms. Carla on 17th June 2017! SPPC1474-Janice (F), was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 31st March 2017, with an estimated age of two years old. She was pregnant. She went back to her site, had the kittens and she was back to Anima on 25th May 2017, for general check up and vaccination. Her two kittens, SPPC1545-Jina and SPPC1546-Jessa were also brought in for vaccination and de-worming. They were all delivered to Cat Paradise for adoption on May 25th 2017. Jina was adopted on 10th June by Ms. Carla that found she was sad at home! So, she decided to foster Janice, the mother, for a while in order to see if Jina happiness could improve. Anima–June Foster (C1599-Wasson)!

<17-06-2017> Wasson was fostered by Ms. Carla on 17th June 2017! C1599-Wasson (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Chou, informing that a cat was found in Rua da Pedra, Coloane, and his hind legs were paralyzed. A student found him that morning and put him in a box but left him on the sideway, so Mr. Chou decided to bring C1599-Wasson to Cats’ Paradise for help. C1599-Wasson was checked by our vet, de-wormed and sprayed with Frontline. His both hind legs were paralyzed and he has to be massaged for urinate. He was taken to a clinic that referred that may be his situation was congenital but after some extra checking it was noted that there were several bites already closed in Wasson that could be done by dogs. Anima–June Adoption (1891-Marik)!

<16-06-2017> Marik was adopted by Ms. Devonne on 16th June 2017! 1882-Sheba (F), around one year old, with her puppies, 1883-Sammy, 1884-Selina, 1885-Sherry, 1886-Syrus, 1887-Stanley, 1888-Shelton, all around two weeks old, 1889-Marla, 1890-Maisie, 1891-Marik and 1892-Macy, all around three days old, were rescued by Anima on 12th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, informing that he found two new born puppies and one mother hiding inside the underbrush of a footbridge between two casinos. Our rescue team went to the site and found two groups of dogs, one mother with five puppies and one mother with four puppies. As we had failed to catch the mothers and we didn’t collect the puppies on 10th May 2017, as they were too young and still need milking. 1892-Macy was found dead already for some days in underbrush with her body in decomposition. Anima–June Adoption (1847, 1849)!

<16-06-2017> Ayla and Ava were adopted by Mr. Richard on 16th June 2017! The mother, 1845-Ady (F), with an estimated age of three years old, together with her puppies, 1846-Alisa (F), 1847-Ayla (F), 1848-Anya (F), 1849-Ava (F), 1850-Ann (F), 1851-Allan (M) and 1852-Avon (M), all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that a dog gave birth to seven puppies in a site of Coloane and they needed our help. The mother and the puppies were checked by our vet and dewormed. They were all staying with us and now Ayla and Ava were adopted! Thanks Mr. Richard! Please help us to find adopters!
