Anima–August Abandoned (T036-Ping Ping)!

<27-08-2022> Turtle T036-Ping Ping being abandoned! By the end of July, we received a e-mail from Ms. Joana asking for our help. She and her family are moving abroad but she cannot bring along her turtle Ping Ping with them. Ping Ping has been staying with the family for more than 10 years, she tried finding a new home for Ping Ping but was unsuccessful. Since the date of leaving was approaching, Ms. Joana asked Anima to take care of her turtle. Ping Ping is now in Cats’ Paradise and is living in the pond with other turtles. Anima-8月份的拯救(C2744-Dune)!

Anima–August Rescue (C2744-Dune)!

<26-08-2022> C2744-Dune (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Lai referring that a stray cat was hiding under the bushes in front of a library in Jardim de Luís de Camões. She asked us help. The cat was wet, easy to approach and also seems to be sick. Our Rescue team sent C2744-Dune to a clinic directly for consultation and some tests. Physically, he was very dehydrated with jaundice, very skinny and some teeth where missing from one side of his mouth. Also, Dune is a carrier of FIV. The vet recommended Anima to leave him for treatment. C2744-Dune is now hospitalized, under medical care. On 28/8/2022, we received call from the vet that Dune went into coma and soon passed away. Anima–August Rescue (C2744-Dune)!

<26-08-2022> Anima received call from Ms. Lai on 25/8/2022 asking for our help. She found a cat hiding under the bushes in Jardim de Luis de Camões. The cat was wet and was very weak. She looked after the cat until our rescue team arrived. We rescued the cat C2744-Dune (M), around 4 years old, we sent Dune to the vet clinic at once for check-up. The report showed it was very dehydrated, Jaundice, very skinny, teeth missing from one side of its mouth and kidney problem. Speed test was done and result showed POSITIVE for FIV. Dune needed to stay in clinic for treatment. We received call from the vet on the next day, Dune’s condition was not very good as it was having low body temperature, and it even started to eat less. <24-08-2022> 2463-Cupcake was rescued by Anima today! Cupcake (F, 8months old), had a traffic accident and got injured two months. IAM rescued her and had surgery. Since the wound was seriously infected, unluckily Cupcake had to amputate her left front leg. Cupcake is now a three-limb dog, and we understand that it is really hard to find an adopter for Cupcake.
