Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (C2663-Sunny)!

<21-11-2021> C2663-Sunny (M), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima with the support of Mr. Carlos. Sunny was found by Mr. Carlos at around 7pm lying on the street of Rua Um do Bairro da Concórdia. The kitten was very weak and was transferred to a clinic. Unfortunately, however, Sunny didn’t survive. X-ray images revealed a fracture on his skull, possibly due to a fall from a height. IAM has been informed. R.I.P.! Please help us to help them! Anima at CEM’s Event “Green Movie Screening”!

<21-11-2021> Today, Anima attended CEM’s Green Movie Screening - A Glimmer of Hope for the Climate Crisis. The event took place at the outdoor venue of Macau Holy House of Mercy and around 90 people were present. The initiative counted with a charity sale of potted plants and souvenirs. A generous amount of MOP 4,473 was raised to Anima! The proceeds will help us in our efforts saving the homeless dogs. We are grateful to CEM for another great initiative! Anima–November Rescue (C2658-C2662)!

<14-11-2021> Five cats were rescued by Anima on 14th November, 2021: C2658-Lolita (F), a British shorthair around 12 years old; as well as C2659-Chantel (F), around three and a half years old; together with her three-month-old kittens C2660-Gumpty (F), C2661-Humpty (M) and C2662-Dumpty (M). Last week, we received a Facebook message from a non-resident worker reporting to have six cats at home in Rua de S. Jose. She claimed to be unable to afford taking care of them and stated that her roommate left her the two adult cats three years ago, when she returned to her home country. Chantel hadn’t been spayed and, as her home didn’t have window protection installed, she had access to the outside of the house.
