Anima in IAM initiative “Seja um dono responsável”!

<13-11-2021> Today, Anima attended IAM initiative “Seja um dono responsável – Cuide do seu animal de estimação para sempre” (Be a responsible owner – Take care of your pet forever). The event took place in Camões Garden, and around 80 people participated. Our thanks to IAM and everyone who attended! <07-11-2021> Sadly, our dog 983-Ginja has passed away. Ginja was nine years old and was living in our shelter since 2013. She was suffering from pancreatitis and had been receiving treatment. Anima-November Adoption (C2630-Falcon)!

<07-11-2021> Falcon was adopted today by Ms. Chao! C2630-Falcon (M) was rescued together with his siblings on 11th September 2021, when he was around six weeks old. The rescue happened after a call reporting that several kittens had been found abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima–November Rescue (C2657-Francisco)!

<07-11-2021> C2657-Francisco (M), a kitten around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 7th November, 2021. We received a call from Mr. Francisco reporting that a kitten was found hiding under a vending machine at Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga. With the help of Mr. Francisco and Ms. Carla, the kitten was rescued and sent to a clinic for consultation. He will remain hospitalized for the time being. Anima–November Sad News (C2172-Matteo)!

<06-11-2021> Sadly, our cat C2172-Matteo has passed away. Matteo was suffering from several health issues, including severe kidney problems. Despite the ongoing medical care, his health condition continued to deteriorate. Following veterinary advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Matteo was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten his agony. RIP, our dear friend! Please help us to help them!
