Anima-S.U.M.U.S.T.V.A. visited us!

<07-11-2020> Today, we were visited by 75 people, of which 36 were from the Macau University of Science and Technology Volunteer Association. In this visit, 16 students were in our Dogs’ Shelter and 20 students in our Cats’ Paradise. They had the opportunity to walk and play with our four-legged companions! Thank you for your visit! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! Until the beginning of November 2020, we have welcomed 8,575 visitors, compared with 6,217 visitors in the same period last year! Anima–November Adoption (C2372-Yacob)!

<07-11-2020> Yacob was adopted by Mr. Chin, today! C2372-Yacob (M), around one and a half years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 25th July 2020 after being found abandoned in front of Cats’ Paradise entrance gate in the early morning. A letter was found telling that Yacob was under the guard of a solitary old man who just passed away. The abandoner claimed to be unable to take care of him. He was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Yacob was adopted by Mr. Chin! Thanks, Mr. Chin!   Please, Adopt and never buy! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima-November Sad News (C1625-Sunnie)!

<01-11-2020> C1625-Sunnie (F), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting to have rescued two cats in Guia Hill, when she heard there were some people poisoning the cats. Initially, she took care of them, for around a month, but she would later find out to suffer from allergies, by which she asked us if we could take them. Sunnie was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Sunnie had been suffering from kidney and liver problems. Her health worsened severely this last week and her condition was already irreversible. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Sunnie was euthanized in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
