Anima – March Sad News (521-Ah-Bo)

We are all very sad in Anima. Ah-Bo was in suffer in spite of all the medical attention Anima has provided to him for so long. 521-Ah-Bo was rescued by Anima on October 7, 2010 and our statistics informs us that he should be around nine years but we believe he was older. Someone adopted him before he enters Anima and abandoned him one month afterwards. We have postponed the euthanasia for more one week to give to him a new opportunity to recover. Ah-Bo couldn’t stand up, was shaking, seems in deep pain. He had pain when palpating the back and the hip and total incontinence. He was not able to control his basics necessities and was not able to stand up. Nothing we could do to alleviate his suffer! R.I.P. my good Friend! Never abandon your pet! 1428-Finley was rescued by Anima in Estr. do Altinho de Ka Ho (Coloane main road) caught by a car. He was already dead. If you are working with animals not under the umbrella of any organized Society for the Protection of Animals please never feed any animal in the road, specially in that road.
