All animals must be treated with dignity!

For your own safety, do you want to be muzzled? For your own safety, do you want to be caged? Anima is a Society that protects all animals, not only dogs or cats, birds or rabbits. Any living creature is subject to our concern. No animal, including those that belong to our chain of food consumption (not all of us are veggies activists), should be treated with cruelty. Animals that belong to our chain of food consumption should be respected and any unnecessary cruel treatment should be severely punished or avoided. We are a kind of Association that respects life. As so, we do not kill, unless in very extreme situations when animals enter in suffer and no other treatment is possible! Life is the most important thing for all of us, including non-humans animals! There are organizations that kill animals because they think is better killing them than leaving them...

Anima – February Rescue (1652-Terris)!

THIS IS A SERIOUS ACT OF CRUELTY! HOW LONG HAVE WE TO SEE THOSE ACTS WITHOUT THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE BEING  PUNISHED? WHEN DO WE  HAVE A LAW FOR PROTECTING ANIMALS AGAINST THESE DEPLORABLE AND INFAMOUS ACTS OF CRUELTY? 1652-Terris, a two years old dog, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Fong reporting that 1652-Terris was found injured in front of Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional. When our rescue team arrived, 1652-Terris was lying on the street with the nose bleeding. According to a witness, Mr. Tang, he was on the motorcycle and saw five people beating the nose of a dog with a hammer and a stick. They were inside a Blue Toyota (the plate number will be reported by Anima to the Police) so Mr. Tang chased the car and yelled at them. Anima – Another example of cruelty in Macau!

Anima was called today by Ms. Cheong to rescue one dog in a casino construction site (Nova Cidade de Cotai, Gate 54) that had a trap in the front right leg. According to Mr. Yum, who is responsible for the dogs in that area, it is the second time this happens and he doesn’t know who does that! These traps are used to catch bears! It is time to end these cruelty situations! It is time to put in force the law that is being discussed in the Macau Legislative Assembly! Even being, in our opinion, not a good law it is for sure an improvement to the actual environment! Anima – July Rescue and Return(C485-Ohara)!

This is clearly a case of cruelty! Ohara how she was and how she is now! Someone adopted Ohara on 25 April 2015 and without notice to us just abandoned her. The adopter tells that she was lost, but didn't care to inform us! Do you believe that? We should like to post the face of the adopter and her boyfriend but our policy do not allows us to do that. It is a young couple that should be ashamed. Anima rescued today Ohara after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a skinny cat was found in a carton box at Istmo Ferreira do Amaral (Near Escola Choi Nong Chi Tai). Our cats’ supervisor identified immediately C485-Ohara when she arrived. Anima – Irresponsible dog owner provoked the death of this cat!

C950-Eloise was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that C950-Eloise was found dying in Ruínas de São Paulo. According to the cleaners in the area, they saw a lady bringing two dogs for a walk without leash and the dogs attacked C950-Eloise. When Anima arrived the cat was very damaged and taken immediately to a clinic died when arrived. Thanks Mr. Wong! Please be a responsible citizen! Anima is not asking anybody to love or like all species of animals! We are even not asking anybody to love or like any animal! However we all must respect the life and the rights  of all species! Never walk dogs without a leash! Walking dogs without a leash may put their life  or the life of other species, including humans, in danger! R.I.P. my friend!
