Anima–December Rescue (SPP2514-Shun Fung)!

<10-12-2024> SPP2514-Shun Fung (M), around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program since 24th June 2024 along with other SPP dogs, under the responsability of Ms. Ah Sa in Ka Ho village. Shun Fung was found injured today due to fights with other dogs. Ms. Ah Sa asked us help. Anima will provide medical care and a desex surgery after SPP2514-Shun Fung recovers. Thanks, Ms. Ah Sa! Anima–December Sad News (C2902-Nutella)!

<05-12-2024> C2902-Nutella (F) and C2903-Nestle (M), around six years old, and C2904-Skippy (F), together with C2905-Kraft (M), both10 years old, were rescued by Anima on 26th January 2024, from the kennel, after a call from Ms. Zeng referring that her ex-neighbor, an old guy named Peter had cancer and heart problems, who lived alone and had around 20 cats at his home now with no conditions. She asked us help. Anima worked together with other associations to rescue all the cats, step by step, as long as we have space. Nutella, Nestle, Skippy and Kraft were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2902-Nutella made a blood test and it showed that she was severely anemic, she had high inflammation, kidney problems and pancreatitis. She was under treatment, but besides all medical efforts, C2902-Nutella passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Sad News (SPP1015-Tara)!

<04-12-2024> SPP1015-Tara (F), around seven years old back then, has been under our SPP program since 31st March 2013. Tara was rescued on the 3rd September 2019, after we were informed that she was caught by IAM. Tara was welcomed to our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, SPP1015-Tara has been with health problems and under hospice care. Unfortunately, a mass in front of her heart started to grow and she got worst. Anima was informed by the vets that she passed away today, probably due to a tumor. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (2533-Leg Leg II)!

<02-12-2024> 2533-Leg Leg II (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2024, after a call from Ms. Fok, reporting that an injured dog was found in bushes at Estrada do Altinho de Coloane, near Aldeia Cultural de A-Ma and the dog was unable to move. He was immediately sent to a vet clinic for consultation. X-rays showed a fracture on his lumbar vertebrae and a broken tail. Health exams revealed ascites and other small problems that need treatment. He stayed hospitalized in the clinic. 2533-Leg Leg II will be welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter as soon as he recovers! <27-11-2024> Today, we were visited by 30 people, of which 15 were from a Volunteer Team of City University of Macau. This group gave us a precious help at our Dogs’ Shelter.
