<17-10-2020> 2308-Kenji (M), a Bichon Frisé around seven years old, was rescued by Anima today, following a message from Ms. Septi on Facebook reporting to have found a dog in A-Ma Temple last night. A friend of Ms. Septi took care of Kenji temporarily. No microchip was detected and, given the lack of options, we have welcomed him at our Dogs' Shelter. We hope Kenji finds an adopter soon! Anima–October Adoption (C2337-Kimball)!

<16-10-2020> Kimball was adopted by Ms. Kelley, today! C2337-Kimball (M), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 15th May 2020, after received a message from Mr. Tang and later a call from Ms. Yu, both reporting that a sick kitten was found in Praça Luís de Camões. Mr. Tang brought the kitten to a clinic for consultation as the kitten had eye infections. Our rescue team collected the kitten and he stayed in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–Rescue and Abandonment (C2417-Nena)!

  <15-10-2020> C2417-Nena (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 15th October 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong referring that a cat had fell into the patio on the 1st floor of Edf. Mayfair Court in Rua de Francisco António. An Elderly lady with wheelchair is living there and both, the security and Ms. Wong, know she is unable to have pets. Rescue team was sent to the site and informed Ms. Wong to contact fire department and IAM. On the way, ANIMA also contacted IAM asking for their assistance in searching if the cat has an owner. When Anima arrived the firemen already had caught the cat. C2417-Nena was sent to Macau Kennel for an urgent X-ray. Results showed a fracture in the pelvis. Anima–October Rescue (C2416-Joelle)!

<14-10-2020> C2409-Lorrie (F), around two years old, C2410-Lawrence (M), around eight months old, C2411-Lilian (F), around seven months old, as well as C2412-Lumi (F) and C2413-Lucia (F), both around two years old, were all rescued by Anima on the 11th October 2020, from the cages where they were found without minimum living conditions, inside the interior patio of a building in Macau. One other cat, C2414-Kaya (gender and age to be identified), was also rescued, caught while roaming freely over the site. Today, C2416-Joelle (M), around eight months old, was rescued by Anima at the same site. These are the results of an extensive rescue operation in a site identified by our rescue team on the previous days and under the responsibility of an elderly lady in Macau. <12-10-2020> 2307-Aaron (M), around one month and 19 days old, was rescued by Anima on 12th October 2020, from I.A.M. after they caught him and his three siblings at Estr. de Hac Sa on 22nd September 2020. 2307-Aaron was vaccinated and microchipped in Macau Kennel. Anima–October Rescue (C2415-Zorro)!

<12-10-2020> C2415-Zorro (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th October 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a cat has been lying next to bus stop of Avenida do Infante D. Henrique for half an hour, not moving even if some pedestrian kicked his tail. Rescue team went there and saw the cat lying on the middle of pedestrian road. C2415-Zorro was sent to Life Animal Clinic as his right eyeball was gone with discharge coming out. According to the vet, Zorro’s eyeball was gone but the reason is unknown. He is also dehydrated, and he has a wound on paw. C2415-Zorro is going to stay in the clinic under medical care. Thanks, Ms. Wong! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Adoption (2076-Blackbean)!

<12-10-2020> Blackbean was adopted today by Ms. Megan! Our dog 2076-BlackBean (F), now called Keeda, was adopted by Mr. Stevenson on the 21st December 2018. However, in June 2020, Mr. Stevenson was unexpectedly dismissed by The House of Dancing Water. Caught without warning and given 10 days to exit Macau, he was not in condition to take Keeda back to Canada, his home country, and he immediately informed us of the situation. Fortunately, back then, Ms. Megan, a friend of Mr. Stevenson, accepted to temporarily foster Keeda. After a few months, Ms. Megan has now decided to keep Keena permanently and Anima inclusively helped her yesterday transferring Keeda’s license! Keeda was now adopted by Ms. Megan, who is willing to take her back to her home country in the future! Thank you, Ms. Megan, for your kindness! Please, Adopt and never Buy!
