Anima-November Adoption (1877-Gerry)!

<10-11-2017> Gerry was adopted by Mr. Carlos on 10th November 2017! 1877-Gerry (M), was rescued by Anima on the 7th May 2017, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Cheong reporting that a poodle, 1877-Gerry, was found in the tunnel of Portas do Cerco at around 3 a.m. that morning and he was unable to move. He had no microchip. 1877-Gerry was sent to a clinic for consultation. An X-Ray showed the left hind leg was fractured. 1877-Gerry has recovered from the  surgery on his leg and was now adopted. Anima-We need Volunteers this Saturday!

<09-11-2017> We need volunteers to help us! Dear friends, We need volunteers to help at our Cats' Paradise this Saturday (11 November 2017) afternoon from 3pm to 6pm! If you are available, please go to our Cats' Paradise directly during that time. Anima Shelter is completely FULL! We need to re-organize our space to help more animals in need! At this moment our Dogs ' Shelter is full and there is no space for extra dogs. We can only re-arrange and re-organize some space at our Cats' Paradise in order to move some dogs there. Everyday we are  rescuing animals, and we always face the difficulty of having no  space. Now we are finding a solution to facilitate our work to help more animals! Please help us to remove extra stuffs in our warehouse, help us to clean the place, help us to re-arrange the room and settings. We need people to help us! Anima-Temporary Accommodation (C1209, C1238)!

<09-11-2017> C1209-Sirus and C1238-Venice will be accommodated in Anima for five days until 13th November 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 300 patacas and for cats 150 patacas, enough to pay half annual membership fees in the first case and almost one year of membership fees in case of a cat! Anima-November Sad News (C1581-Easton)!

<09-11-2017> C1581-Easton (M),  was rescued by Anima on 7th June 2017, when he was around seven years old, after a call from Mr. Yung, informing that there was an injured cat in Rua Cinco do Bairro da Areia Preta. C1581-Easton had a huge cut on his belly and the interiors could be seen. He was delivered to a clinic, for stitch the wounds and spayed. Yesterday he was found with fever, apathetic, jaundice and difficult in breathing. He was suspected having FIP as his belly was bloated and full of ascites. Unfortunately C1581-Easton passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-November Sad News (C1719-Almond)!

<09-11-2017> SPPC1179-Dabria (F), was rescued by Anima through Michele, somewhere in Taipa, and was under our Special Protection Program since 29th April 2016, when she was around one year old. On 10th August SPPC1179-Dabria was supposed to be sprayed but she was found pregnant through ultrasound. On 25th September 2017 she gave birth to C1717-Hazel, C1718-Peanut, C1719-Almond and C1720-Chestnut. C1719-Almond was in severe diarrhea, hypothermia and dehydration on 7th November 2017. He was sent to a clinic for treatment. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that C1719-Almond passed away due to severe hypothermia. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! <09-11-2017> Mamie was adopted by Ms. Chan on 9th November 2017! The mother cat, C1654-Mamie (F), around two years old at that time, with her three kittens, C1655-Mable (F), C1656-Makena (F) and C1657-Manus (M), all around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Shum reporting that a cat gave birth in Yuet Wah College  and needed our help. Anima-November Rescue (R039-Zeki)!

<09-11-2017> R039-Zeki (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 9th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found a rabbit running around a rubbish bin in Fai Chi Kei. Anima – November Return to Nature (SQ003-Bonna)!

<08-11-2017> SQ003-Bonna (F), a squirrel, was rescued by Anima on 5th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured squirrel on the road near  IACM at Barra. She asked us for help as SQ003-Bonna was in pain and screaming. Bonna was sent to a clinic immediately. Her tail was broken and has to do a surgery to cut part of the tail. SQ003-Bonna has recovered from the surgery . Today she was released back to the former place where she was found. Good luck my friend!
