Anima – September Adoption (C1189-Sabrin)!

<23-09-2016> Sabrin was adopted by Ms. Chong on 23rd September 2016! C1189-Sabrin (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at Rua de João de Araújo. Sabrin was picked up by our rescue team and checked by our vet. Her belly was very big and tense, the spirit seemed good. The ears were dirty. She gave birth to C1208-Sage (M), C1209-Sirus (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) on 31st May 2016! Sabrin was spayed on 21st June 2016. She stayed with us until now. Anima – Macau Anglican College Visited Us!

<22-09-2016> Today, 33 people visited us, 27 of them were from Macau Anglican College! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima – Returned to Nature (B048, B049)!

<22-09-2016> B048-Piddo was rescued by Anima on 19th September 2016, after a call from Mr. Peter reporting that he found a pigeon that couldn’t fly in Jockey Club and Piddo’s right wing could not stretch out as well. B049-Bogot was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2016, after a call from Ms. Connie, our Treasurer, reporting that she found a bird that couldn’t fly in ARTM. Piddo and Bogot were sent to a clinic and stayed there for observation until now. They recovered  and were released today! Fly free my friends! Anima – September Rescue and Sad News (B050-Pim)!

<22-09-2016> B050-Pim was rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that Pim hit herself on the window and couldn’t stand properly afterwards. Pim was sent to a clinic immediately. We were informed by the clinic that Pim passed away suddenly in the afternoon without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – September Rescue and Sad News (1804-Momo)!

<22-09-2016> 1804-Momo (M), three years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2016 night time, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that a poodle was found dying in Rua do Almirante Sérgio. Momo was vomiting blood and he passed away before we arrived. According to the vet, the cause of death could be an internal injury in his head or poison. After we found the owner Ms. Lung on Facebook  the body was collected by her. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Be careful  and a responsible owner! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – September Foster Return (SPP1666-Tiko)!

< 21-09-2016> SPP1666-Tiko (M) was rescued by Anima in Coloane on 14th March 2016 as he was found breathing hard and vomiting. He was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately and he had to stay overnight there for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needed a surgery but could only do it after few days and he had possibilities of survive. A second vet opinion from other clinic referred that the success of a surgery was very limited and serious danger might occur during the surgery. Meanwhile, until the first vet was capable to do the surgery, Anima sent Tiko to a third clinic, talked directly to the major vet and the opinion was that his stomach was inside the chest, making him to have breathe difficulties. We didn’t wait and he had the surgery that time. If not he might not survive. He survived and he stays with us healthily...

Services provided to our community (1802, 1803)!

<20-09-2016> Anima helped Ms. Ana Ferreira to deliver her dogs, 1802-Amahee (F) and 1803-Meili (F) as she doesn’t have a car. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet!
