Anima – December Rescue (1611-Fafa)!

1611-Fafa was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Loi reporting that a Pomeranian, 1611-Fafa, was found in Parque Marginal da Areia Preta this morning around 2:00 am. According to Mrs. Loi, her spirit and appetite were good, but she couldn’t walk properly. 1611-Fafa was rescued and delivered to a clinic for an X-Rays. The result showed the bones of both hind legs were deformed. We have no other option than put her in our Association area! Thanks Mrs. Loi! Please be a responsible owner! Do not abandon your pet! Anima – Mui Mui and Sai B needs a new family!

On the Christmas Eve nothing worst could happen to Mui Mui, Sai B and the family! We disagree with these doctors and these explanations by the owners but our job is to find a proper family to all of them. We have no solution for them, as we are full! So, this may be their last chance to stay alive! Anima received a call from a community member regarding two dogs that she has at home (a Pomeranian and a Shih Tzu). According to her, she cannot keep them anymore as her grandmother had a surgery due to kidneys problems and needs to make dialysis every day and the doctor considers not appropriate for her to have dogs at home. This is a difficult moment for the family, we understand, but everybody must keep cool and accept that pets are for life! We are sorry, but this advise shows total ignorance, stupidity,...

Anima – December Sad News (182-Lobo)!

182-Lobo was rescued by Anima on the first beginning of Anima, after a board member of Anima found him being improperly cared by a family, having him in a balcony and giving him almost no food! He was on that time around four months old and Anima even has no shelter available for him. He was accepted by ARTM, our partners from the first beginning, and lived there up to now with three of our dogs. He died of natural causes. He was around 13 years old! We still have in ARTM two of our dogs (183-Mr. Brown and 184-Lo Shu)! R.I.P. my friend! Please don’t treat your pet with cruelty! Cruelty should be punished! Anima – December Adoption (C1081-Chibi)!

C1081-Chibi was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Patrícia reporting that C1081-Chibi, a two months old kitten, was found in Estrada do Repouso the night before. Her eyes were inflamed, especially the left one, he had upper respiratory problems, nasal discharge, apathy, fever, was skinny, dehydrated and very dirty with a lot of fleas. Anima – December Rescue (C1090-Shady)!

C1090-Shady was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that someone has two cats at home but they are being aggressive with a three years old ginger cat. We decided to collect them as the family was not able to handle the situation. Today we collected C1090-Shadie as C1091-Sharkie was more aggressive. He will be collected sooner. This is not a situation that we like to handle as we believe  the family could be able to do that by firstly de-sexing their males cats! Do not abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! 1564-Laurel, 1562-Larrie, 1563-Lora and 1565-Losa, were rescued by Anima on 21st October 2015, after a call from Ms. Chong referring that 1562- Larry was stuck under the floor board near Ka-Ho barbeque site and asked if we could help. Anima – December Adoption (C965-Mika)!

C965-Mika was rescued by Anima on 8th June 2015, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens and the mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemiterio (Santo António e São Lázaro" Social Service Centre). Two kittens, C952-Denzel and C956-Meijo, were rescued by Anima few days before Mika. The mother, Mika, was now adopted by Elizabete. Thanks Elizabete! Never abandon your pet! Anima – December Rescue (1609 and 1610)!

1609-Reed was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Julie reporting that a puppy was found somewhere in Macau. 1610-Reeve was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that a puppy was found on a road in Cotai. They are around 1.5 months old. We have no space for them as they have to be in quarantine. However, we found an area (pen 16), our wood house, which is not appropriate for that age at night time, but it is good for a quarantine! It is the maximum we can do for them. We hope everything will run well for them at least for the next  10 days! Some people only complain and complain. But when we need their help they just don’t show up! Thanks Ms. Julie and Mr. Lee! Anima – December Sad News (1606-Tavis)!

1606-Tavis was rescued by Anima on 19th December 2015, after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that a dog, now 1606-Tavis, was hit by a car in Avenida Son On (Near TCM Bus Factory). 1606-Tavis was sent to a clinic immediately and he had a head trauma, vomiting blood, a broken mandible, and was unconscious. The prognosis was poor. He died today after staying overnight in a clinic for observation! R.I.P. my friend! Please be a responsible driver! Drive carefully!
